The Empanada Spot Williamsburg reviews
18The food is very good, the person who attends the cashier is not very friendly, and the facilities leave something to be desired, from where to sit comfortably to the cleanliness of the bar.
The empanadas are always exactly how I like them. They are my go to for my lunch order. I also really love and enjoy the service of the two ladies at the shop—they’re sweet and helpful!
One would think that having a spot for empanadas as the main thing to sell wouldn't be sustainable but it works here.
They are now MINI empanadas, literally 3 Inches long, bite size almost, not worth the money anymore.
Worst service you can have here. Not only that, if you dare call to place an order the woman at the counter will pick up the phone and not answer or even say please hold. She will forget she ever touched a phone in her life and her immediate response is she was busy when in reality she is chit chatting sitting being on her phone, still no response in the phone, while I am seeing everything from outside. This is what makes me buy food somewhere else.
Came t eat after chieffing with le wife and ordered every single empanada flavor they all were delicious but the one that I liked the most was the hamburger and cheese!
A plate of salad and chicken is not their strong suit. They did it for a very long time and it was not tasty.
The empanadas here are great, although not the best in the city.incredible prices too if on a budget.counter service was very friendly and attentive as well.my only complaint is the high wait time, which i hadn't seen at comparable empanada places.
Really good spot to eat just wish the portions of the empanadas were bigger but would def go again
*Usually* tasty empanadas. The ones I got while writing this review seemed to be a touch too deep fried, a little too crispy, but this was the first time I had this issue here. Been here a handful of times.
My main complaint is that they’re always out of the corn ones! If they’re so popular that they’re gone by midday then why not make more? Like every single time I come in they’re not available. Past that, just a pretty good empanada spot. Not amazing but good. The indoor seating isn’t particularly cozy but it’s more of like a fast eat kind of seating
We liked the spicy chicken arepa and the steak and cheese empanadas. Sadly many of their empanadas were sold out when we went there
Never received my food after calling plenty of times. Waited almost 2 hrs and it never showed up. Never again!
Food is very tasty. I’ve tried mostly all of the empanadas and not one has disappointed (including the dessert ones). Highly recommend trying it out!
Literally, the first time, I have seen so many options for empanadas. They did a great job of tasting the way I would have expected. Great place to get a quick bite.
Wrong order did not pick up their phone after several attempts and didn’t not care to fix their mistake, Awful service.
Very welcoming staff and delicious food. I must say that this has been the best empanadas since empanada mama in Manhattan- go here and you’ll be stuck. Love it
The empanadas are truly delicious. This spot has the right name, and the right location. Keep up the good work!
Decent empanadas, certainly not the best I have had. Surprisingly the order took long to get ready and was super greasy. Ground beef was good and the corn empanada was very tasty by itself. Wish they had more combo deals for all the empanadas. No
