The Flo, Buffalo NY

I started floating seven years ago during a very stressful time in my life when I had overbearing job and had just exited a toxic long term relationship and in general was looking to take better care of myself. I would have chronic migraines triggered by stress and after about 4 or 5 float session they had lessen and after a year of occasionally floating they disappeared. I have not had a migrane for seven years.

I believe floating helped me identify my stress triggers BUT gave me enough space FROM my stress in order to break out of its triggering ability. When you suspended in nothing but a womb like environment for and hour and a half with nothing but time it kind of gently forces to you. It also helped me set time ever few months to focus on myself and relax.

I like the tanks, staff is amazing and I truly believe in this place and what it has to offer the public.

This was my first float and it was amazing! From the moment I walked in, I felt so welcome. Speaking with Matt and Joe about the float before and after along with information about the beautiful art, unique pieces, and products for sale in the shop was a great experience in itself. The tanks are incredible— I’ve never felt anything like it. I highly recommend The Flo for anyone looking to relax and recharge.

I have been coming to float here at The Flo for 3 years. They have been wonderful to me every time. The place is always clean and welcoming and the tanks are fabulous. Also they now sell my favorite incense.

I had a great experience. The staff was kind, patient, understanding and very helpful before and after my float. I highly recommend this experience at this establishment for anyone who needs to decompress/recharge.

Extremely disappointing experience. I scheduled a couple's float session on May 13th for June 10th. Received a phone call on June 5th to cancel the session, purportedly due to the Allentown Art Festival taking place. This is the 66th annual festival that is held on the SAME weekend every year. Why would a business have their books open if they knew the festival was disruptive to receiving clients, and why would they wait until just 5 days before to cancel a session when I specifically mentioned that I was driving over 85 miles for the experience? I won't be re-booking, even if it was free.

This was an amazing experience. The person who runs it explained everything from start to finish. I felt safe and was able to fully relax. I was so calm I went home and took a very restful nap. Woke up really refreshed and in a positive mood.
