The Fresh Market, Smithtown NY

1st time in store although I've had their deli entrees, which are delicious & priced right, staff was friendly & helpful. Store was clean!

Staff is so sweet and extremely helpful! Everything is so fresh. Obsessed with their homemade chocolate chip banana bread and they have a great cheese section.

On almost every visit, there is a discrepancy. The posted price rings higher at the register.

This is an awesome market, called 'Fresh Market " I always pass by on main Street and never stopped in, but on June 30th 2022 I decided to check it out, oh my goodness was I in for a treat I bought lunch for work, I love it, there prices are reasonable, lots of food items to choose from, I will be shopping there again this time for groceries

FRESH is the operative word in this place. Fresh salads, fresh baked goods, fresh fruits and veggies, fresh ready to bake pizzas. Wanna eat healthy without Whole Foods prices or crowds, go to The Fresh Market. Wine, beer, fresh ground coffee, other epicurean delights.head on over there!

This was my first time in the store and Omg I'm in love with the store. My mom and I went shopping together and she was asking me have you ever been in The Fresh Market and that was the first time I was going up and down every isle looking at this and that. I told my mom that I'm definitely going to be shopping in there when I'm looking for health food

This is my only supermarket. It is clean, small, organized and quiet.
The prices are fair and they also offer alot of discounts.
Quality handmade items and stuff you will not find anywhere else on Long Island.
Really great supermarket for organic vegetables, fruit, herbal teas, candy, baked goods, fish and meat.

Cool specialty grocery Store! If you are looking for some original hard to find ingredients, this is the store for you. Clean. Helpful/friendly staff. Prices are higher than your regular grocery store though

Every business should have staff like Fresh Market! They took the ownership and helped me get what I wanted

The inari - tofu wrapped rice and spicy crab was amazing. The Thursday sushi deal is such a steal and super cheep for such good food! Love shopping here. Staff is nice and friendly as well.

I went there for the first time yesterday. The produce looked great and the overall selection was interesting. Very disappointed with the fresh meat and fish though. I got two kebab skewers that were still eatable but on the verge of going bad. Overall very bland tasting and not very appetizing. I got the fresh salmon in hopes of making it today but when I approached my fridge it had already stunk up my entire fridge and had definitely gone bad.

Edit: I went back because I thought my bad experience with the meat may have been isolated. Yesterday I bought a whole chicken and pulled it out to brine. Already smelled horrible. I washed it and brined it anyways hoping that it was still fine but today the meat smelled and felt so slimy that even after cutting out the worst pieces I had to chuck the entire chicken. Several weeks ago I bought premarinated meat that was also on the border of not being enjoyable anymore. The cooked prepared food has been good overall but I would recommend to stay away from the fresh meat counter. I know that I will.

When I was visiting
my friends at Advanced collision in Smithtown I went to pick up their lunch at Fresh Market it was the cleanest place I've ever been in. Staffers are very helpful and nice. Great selection of nuts, Coffee, produce, chocolate, ect.there meal deals are fantastic. I travel from Ridge to shop there. I cant say enough about the store and perfectly clean it is, thank you.

This is not like your typical supermarket. It doesn't have toothpaste cleaning products or non-food related items. It is full of prepared food and the specialty counters like meat seafood bakery always have a great selection. I love the meat departments deal meal for $20 where you get a complete meal including dessert for four people. The produce section is well stocked with fresh food. They have a large selection of specialty items as well.
