The Goddard School of Stony Brook

Goddard School is an excellent choice if you are looking for a clean, safe and professional environment. I would highly recommend Goddard to anyone looking for a preschool. Staff is very welcoming and trusting, they have made my son feel very comfortable and safe. I’m very happy with the decision we made to come here. Can’t say enough about how clean and well run it is. Would highly recommend to anyone! Thank you Goddard for a wonderful experience!

In these times, finding a safe work/school environment is hard to find. Goddard's focus is security and sense of community which is a challenge when your priorities are those 2, aside from child development and education. They maximize the use of technology as far as teacher-parent communication. The owner's and director's offices are both the first doors you see as you walk in and they're always open.

The Goddard School in Stony Brook is top notch! My son and I have had incredibly terrible experiences at previous child care centers but The Goddard School changed all of that. The Director, Amanda, is so sweet and caring. She went above and beyond to accommodate my son’s picky appetite and dietary restrictions and always welcomed him with hugs! Nirav, the owner, is very hands on and always present. This was the first time I’ve seen an owner of a child care center so involved and I really appreciate that. Miss Aleyda, my sons teacher, is an absolute sweetheart. My son is now counting and identifying colors in Spanish and I am so proud of how well he is thriving because of how Miss Aleyda runs her classroom. Most importantly, parents want to feel that their children are safe, I never once questioned the safety of my son while under the care of the staff at this school. Amanda, Miss Aleyda, and Nirav are a breath of fresh air and I am so happy that my son was able to have a pleasant experience at his last child care center before heading off to public schools. I would 100% recommend this school to anyone seeking child care.

Our daughter has been in Goddard’s care since she was 12 weeks old and we credit a lot of her growth and development to the incredible staff and teachers at the school. To the point that we thanked them on her first birthday for helping us get there! We couldn’t be more grateful to Goddard Stony Brook.

My daughter has been with Goddard for almost 5 months now and I can’t express how happy I am to see her blossom as she grows with Goddard family. She is always excited to go to school and meet her teachers and friends. She loves her teachers and most days wouldn’t want to leave them and come home. I am soo happy that I made the right choice for her.
