The Great Escape & Splashwater Kingdom reviews
7I cancelled my memberships 2 halloweens ago due to a sick child and us needing to pay for treatment and just found out a week ago you have still continued to bill us despite our hardship! We have been emailing and calling for 2 weeks with no response. We had to contact a lawyer this morning on the matter.
This is my third event held at Great Escape under one of their pavilions. The staff does an outstanding job serving approx 500 people buffet dinner all within a couple of hours of festivities.
I ve always like going to the great escape but we went there yesterday and I have to say if your allergic to bees don't go there because there everywhere! We wont be going again until fall you can't even eat outside because there all over your food and drink
Beware of nasty stinging bees & wasps while on the rides & throughout the park.
We live about 2 hours from Lake George, so decided to do the season pass, which was $50 (worth the price imo if you plan on visiting more than once). We really enjoy it here, but my two biggest complaints are that the food is way overpriced, especially for the quality and the bobsleds are always down when we visit. I honestly wish they would just scrap that attraction and put a new coaster in its place. One great thing about Great Escape is that they are autism certified and we were able to get a wrist band for our son who has trouble waiting in line. This always makes the day easier for our family and we are able to enjoy the park without excessive wait times.
Employment wise- they need to stop listing that their wages meet the cost of living. The pay is trash and even if you get promoted to lead or sup you barely get a pay increase. For a big company they really could be paying better.
It was so fun, I love the place. I will definitely come again many times.
