Always a good time at the green onion! Great selection and good atmosphere. Nice to finally be able to sit outside again after a long winter!

Good atmosphere. Welcoming at anyone and everyone. Just be ready to talk loudly or yell, when you want to speak with friends. The music is usually very loud.

If you're in Utica and you don't go to the Green Onion, you should just punch yourself square in the face.

Went there last night, friendly bartender, great ppl in the bar, I am new to the area, love the atmosphere amazing IPA on tap, and you can’t beat the price! Will definitely be back when I’m back In town!

One of the best places around for a wide variety of beers and people. It's small, no tv, no loud music, good for conversations. I wish there were fewer smokers in the limited outdoor area.

Small local bar offering interesting, rotating beer selection. Small, but decent liquor selection. No TVs, outdoor seating. I make the pilgrimage here whenever I'm in town. Good people, good bartenders, nice place to unwind.

Great atmosphere and staff that really care about your beer experience. They offer recommendations and tastes so that you know what to expect. Great place to try some beers that you will not find anywhere else.

Low key vibe and a good beer selection. Crowd seems to tend art scene-ish. Street parking was not an issue.

The Onion always has a great beer selection and a nice welcoming atmosphere. Great bar to catch up with friends. As of last week they had Heady Topper cans for $8! Definitely recommend grabbing one of those while they've got them.
