Yesterday went to the comedy show with friends. Thank God was smart enough not to purchase the tickets on any celebratory occasion. Comedians did not seem to be prepared, and because we were at the front seat, we got all the unnecessary comments about the political stereotypical status of our countries, which were less than basic, and quite opinion based, racist. If one cannot comment on anything before googling it, doesn’t it prove the fact how unprepared and far from being intelligent your pitch is?
Have to say that the day before we went for another comedian show in NYC, and it was a blast. Thanks for ruining the experience, now no much desire to visit comedy show within this vacation, will rather spend this money on alcohol!
Cheers!

Easily the worst comedy I have ever seen. Racist comedians, poor service, and horribly overpriced.

We did an earlier show for $10 and bought one drink. For 1 1/2 hours of entertainment, that’s a pretty good value. There were some hit or miss comics, but that is everywhere. Service was slow but very friendly. We got there early and asked for seats on the side. Floor seats are awkwardly lined up in a perfect row so I’d recommend trying to get to the side if you can.

My friends and I visited the comedy show at Grizzles for the first time. One of the rules for being there was to order a minimum of 2 drinks… that was not clearly informed to us before buying our tickets. During the show a lady with an afro puff asked us what wanted to drink, we already had drink prior at they’re bar and didn’t want another. She told us if was mandatory. My friends & I are 21 & driving, we’re not having 3 drinks. She told us if we’re not buying drinks to get out and leave. Totally understand she was doing her job getting people to buy drinks. Her attitude was horrible while bobbing her head, using hand gestures and there was no sympathy or understanding from any other staff.
Perhaps she was having a bad day, hope she’s well now. Drinks were okay:)

We came here for the standup show, we tried to go to comedy cellar but they were completely booked out and we were sold tickets for 8pm. IT DID NOT DISAPPOINT! I was laughing so hard, had a really good time $20 cover and two drink minimum and I’m so glad we decided to give it a shot. I will be back next time in NYC.

Found this great NYC bar by accident. Was introduced to one of the most personable bar tenders (Sam). Great service, foot, beverages.

Sunday night 10pm comedy show.

Y'all got to do better, man. 1/7 comics was funny. The rest, please work on your confidence and/or material. If you don't believe in your jokes, why would I?

Ian the bartender, you're a good guy. Cheers.

Best place to see up and coming comics in the city. Great and vast variety of comics perfectly curated by the phenomenal people that run the place. To top it all off you can bring your own food and drink prices are more than affordable.

I've been to both their locations. Last night, I did their happy hour show. It was only $5, and I enjoyed the show. They said happy hour was over at the bar, which is weird. I was glad I still got a bud light draft for a decent deal. Lots of comedians. They just kept it running with one after the other for the whole time. I would absolutely go back.

My favorite place for a casual night out. The bartenders are the nicest people in the city, and the comedy shows never disappoint when I have friends in town. Very affordable for the neighborhood.

We had a great night. The comedians were all funny and there are so many. They all get about 10-15 minutes each. We liked it so much we stayed for a second show. We'll definitely be back.

Such a wonderful experience here. So much better than Comedy Cellar and the people here are infinitely nicer and more professional.

Hard to review this place based on the comedy as your experience will vary. But this is what you would expect from a nyc comedy club, and this is where you go when you can't get into the Cellar.
Prices are good for beer and drinks. Toilets are fresh. Comedy is on average funny. Recommend.

Went on a Thursday night for comedy. There was 8 people in the crowd, all the comedians seemed super nervous. Not a single person in the crowd laughed in 1.5 hours. Every joke was about killing themselves, abortion, and racism. Not funny at all. Big L.
