Terrible experience, if I could give 0 star for the customer service I would. Rude staff. Food is overpriced and not tasty at all

Thought the combo platter with white sauce was quite good. It was also filling even though half the platter is lettuce. There was adequate seating.

Probably the worst service ever received anywhere, server would not even look at us, he was uttering remarks under his breath and the food was horrible. DO NOT RECOMMEND!

The staff here are amazing and they helped me with my food. The beef was done well. And craft drinks were amazing. Thank you to the amazing halal staff. Don't know why this place has one star reviews this place is amazing!

The food is very delicious sad part is they give you baby portions even tho the price is close to $15 which is high for halal food especially in Buffalo.

Every time I encounter this employee, I experience terrible customer service and he ignores anything you say. Does not put enough food which makes it not worth my money. I was a regular customer before he came in and now I avoid going because of him. I am not posting his face or name but I hope the management does something about it.

The store opens at 11am … it is now 1110 and the employee hasn’t opened the door. She looks at the line of people waiting outside but doesn’t open the door. When she did come to open the door she unlocked it and closed it in everyone’s face. This is the first time I experienced this type of customer service at this location. Maybe she doesn’t like black people or something because she was and nicer when I finally got inside.

The staff was rude & rushing when my friend and I were the only customers ordering. The two workers were talking over each other to the point I had to repeat my order multiple times. When I asked for the hot sauce on the side I got only one packet, I asked for an extra because the last time I came I got at least 3. The worker told me it’d be about $1.50 for one ketchup sized packet of hot sauce. I then asked if he could just add a small dash onto my food then, to which he rolled his eyes and gave the packet anyways. Rude staff. Impatient. Foods not good enough to put up with that

There must be a meat shortage or something at this specific Halal Guys location because for $13 you get about 5 small pieces of chicken, half a plate of lettuce and some rice. I get better meat portions at Chipotle and we all know how expensive those prices are. The people they hire there are also simply not fit for the job. Every person I had assemble my food either acts like they don't want to be there or talk so fast I have to take a moment to process what they asked. As for the cashier, he never fails to give off a depressing vibe. So, with the combination of the baby-sized meal portions and underwhelming service, my $13 are better spent elsewhere. Honestly, this branch is just a disgrace to the heritage of The Halal Guys. Nothing beats the classic NYC street carts where they gave you a very good amount of meat to go along with the rice and lettuce.

The food is good but the staff keep messing up my orders. I placed a online order with the halal app. I was missing green onions, green peppers. They didn't give me the BBQ sauce I wanted in my order. I order less and less because of these consistent issues. This food is expensive, and I expect it to be correct as a paying customer. The app was disappointing when I reported these missing items that you charged me the best the app would do is a free fry. That doesn't fix what went wrong and creates irritation and frustration.

Please get employees that have better customer service skills and follow simple instructions and can read every order I have placed is always wrong I don't want to have to keep driving back to return food that is not properly made

I love to get the chicken platter from halal guys. I used to get it a lot from them but since last few times every time I go there the service is getting worse. They are giving smaller portions which is definitely not worth the money. Everytime you ask them to add a little sauce or something they are like we will charge you extra. I mean atleast fill it as much as it is supposed to be. Then the ladies who serve specially this one young lady at night time is always so rude. I am never going back to them.

The price is really high and you don’t get what you pay for. Half the plate is lettuce. And they don’t give you enough protein for the price. I have been to many locations throughout the country and have never seen such little amount of protein and rice being put on the plate.

I have been to Halal Guys in NYC, Boston and D. C. They all have same taste. And it's amazing.

But this location in specific (Amherst) - the portion sizes are too small. Never seen such small portions in any other halal guys locations.

To the owner - why do you serve such small portion size?

Will change my rating once the portion sizes are served as other halal guys locations.

This was my first time at The Halal Guys and was very impressed. I had a chicken bowl and it was very juicy and toppings were very fresh and garlic sauce was also really good too. Service was also very quick and reasonable price. My only wish is that they have more on there menu but other then that would recommend

Nasty place. The manager is very rude. He always has a bad attitude. Most of the tables are always dirty.

Not authentic and like the nyc locations. Bland rice and chicken. Too much hot sauce was added. Not worth it.

The environment was incredibly unhygienic. I wouldn't feel comfortable returning to this place.
