I am so disappointed and hate leaving a not great review. The helm came so highly recommended by multiple friends, we got the NY strip steak & the Korean brisket Poutine. None of the specials had their prices listed and the hostess didn't know their prices, The 50$ strip steak we ended up getting was not even close to a 50$ cut of meat. It was unevenly cooked and was extremely tough, dry and overcooked. The mashed potatoes were extremely over-peppered and it was overpowering. The Poutine is delicious but the Kimchi has carrots which I'm allergic to, after specifically requesting no carrots, they sent kimchi on the side but still included carrots in the main dish and I didn't realize until a few bites in. I am now having a minor allergic reaction to the food, the kitchen quickly made another bowl without carrots but no manager came by to apologize or offer anything comped. Unfortunately, we probably won't be back: (

This place was verrrry disappointing. I’ve heard so many ppl rave about this place and I was honestly let down. The food took over an hour to come out. And when it did arrive the orders were incorrect. Ordered fries with a sandwich bc it didn’t come with anything… Fries came out before the meal? Staff was incredibly kind and trying their best though. The place was very dirty. I can understand coming here if you want to get drunk and be in a divey atmosphere. It’s definitely not a place where you want to eat… especially given the expensive prices: (

I've passed this place a hundred times intending to stop. After finally doing so I'm not sure what the fuss is. The service was slow/inefficient/non-existent. The food was overpriced, cold, and tasteless. A Miller Lite was almost $6 and was served in a can! A soda in a cup was almost $5. Come on.
Out door dining is thoughtless and uninspired. The parking lot sits on a slope and with the prices they charge you think the owner would improve the seating area outside. You are literally seated up against 40mph traffic on a slope in ancient furniture. Parking situation is hurtful. The owner parks his personal truck and unused food truck right at the front basically bottlenecking any incoming traffic. Spending $90 on a tab for bad food and service is a sin.

Our experience was very different from the other reviews. We stopped in for lunch late on a Saturday afternoon. The traffic on the road which was about 3 feet from our table was loud and dusty. My husband had a couple of good beers and the fish and chips. He received a large plate of overcooked and soggy fries topped by what could have been a Turkey drum stick! One giant lump of pretty tasteless cod covered in a very thick not tasty bread like crust. All and all not a good meal. I ordered a Mai taco which was short on fish and was mostly sauce. $80.00 later we left being sure this place wouldn’t get a second chance.

My favorite restaurant of all time. The every day menu is incredible and their specials are amazing! We come here a lot! Also, the view if you’re sitting near the window or outside is great.

This place was terrible. I do not understand how it was rated so highly. I ordered special raviolis that were frozen inside. Then the brought me crabcake sliders that were dry and overcooked. I never send food back and I am not picky at all, but it was just really bad.

Great food BUT. GOD AWEFUL atmosphere it is dirty dingy dark.outdoor seating consists of a handful of tables 10INCHES FROM THE MAIN ROADWAY! The speeding city bus and car horns were special too.but not to worry they have an empty beer kegg roping it off for safety.
TIGHT Parking for about 8 cars.food was good $$$
but it was just plain ICKY.would NOT recommend

Everything we ordered tasted great and staff were very friendly. Atmosphere had a cool lakehouse vibe, a little rickety but not in a bad way. Would go back.

The staff was very friendly. No problems there. The place was descent.across the street from the lake. Bar atmosphere. What got us was the prices. $23 for a salad with lettuce, tomatoes, croutons and buratta cheese and worse. Lobster roll special was $41! Can't confirm if it was frozen or fresh lobster but it was small and just okay. $41 for lobster roll and fries. Insanity. Won't go back again unfortunately.

I was completely shocked at the cost of my lunch. There were no prices on the specials menu and my steak was $60! It was good but not a huge serving and certainly not worth that amount. I had two glasses of Pinot noir which totalled $38! Again, I was not given a wine list. I wrongly assumed that a small restaurant on Greenwood lake with, quite frankly, drunk people yelling at the bar during lunch on a Sunday would not cost the same as a dinner in NYC. I was wrong to assume and wanted others to understand a steak dinner for one with two glasses of wine and a salad to start will cost you $150 with tip. In my opinion not at all worth it.

Waitresses were super attentive and wonderful. View was wonderful. Wish they had better wine choices. They had literally no choices for vegetarians. Definitely need to get more choices instead of just a salad. Their barata
salad was amazing.

We lived in the area for about 15 years and for some reason never came here for dinner. We sat outside and listened to music while eating. Food was amazing and band was great. If you own a boat you can just pull up which is a great feature for Greenwood Lake. We are definitely coming back!

Went for Easter brunch. Really nice time. Surprise from the Easter bunny and great selection of food. The brisket is super delicious. It's a bar with great food options! We had a baby and everyone was very nice about the giant mess she made. Great staff, great waiter. Nice view of the lake

Food was great, service was good, atmosphere is nice. A little on the pricey side but worth it. Seems like a great place to go to in the summer when the lake is more active. The waitress and bartender were very friendly. I live in the area and this place is definitely one of my go to's now.

Have been wanting to come here for awhile. Omg, some of the best food I’ve ever eaten! The service is top notch. Monica, was the best. I can’t wait to come back.

The chicken and Waffle was good but wish you had the choice of it being sweet (like with syrup instead of hot sauce). The craft beer choice are good. The specials looked good. Only been there once. We are definitely going back. My girl got a special and the chicken breast size you get was huge. I had it for leftover and still tasted good.

This place was a great find when it first opened. Since Chef Jen parted ways with current owner, it has gone way downhill. Food is not the same and the service is terrible. Very poorly run by a bunch of kids.
