The Home Depot reviews
17It's a great place with tons of stuff to fix your home. Sometimes I feel like I'm begging for help, the staff seems tired of answering questions, we have lots. Some of them are very knowledgeable some are not.
Great local building supply store. Though they did not have what I needed, it is a very desirable store in the neighborhood.
This store is amazing! We rented a truck. Staff was very helpful and friendly, even though they were extremely busy. Their service was quick.
Big store, don't trust online inventory. If possible call ahead.seems heavily used by business owners and contractors so parking can be crazy.
I generally like Home Depot for the variety of things you may need for renovations, construction or building something from the scratch. But if you are just a regular shopper, shopping for something for the first time, make sure to verify the price of the item you chose, by having an employee scan it for you, even if you picked it up among rows of exactly same items that have the sticker displaying the price. At the register price ended up being 2x as much as we thought it would be, because all the items were misplaced and not coordinated with the price tags under them. Other than that, all great
Incompetent staff. Called this site to check on the availability of a flooring product. Online showed in stock, phone staff said it was unavailable. Came to pick up a rental right after and found the flooring was indeed available. Waiting over an hour to get vinyl flooring cut and was skipped in the queue to get my flooring cut. Constant jamming on vinyl cutter. Just got to Lowe’s
The employee in the power tools section was unhelpful. When I arrived he was chit chatting with another co-worker. When I asked for help I got an attitude and the least amount of help possible. I ended up finding a solution to my questions myself. The employee stated they didn't have what I was looking for, but I was able to find what I needed in his section.
Bought 3 pieces of wood for $ 25 each cash, lost the receipt. Called the manager to return says he can't help me.
They need a better return policy
I asked for store credit
Don't use cash here
Asked an older white female associate for help she snapped on and said excuse me I am with a customer. I was shocked and insulted. I am also in the retail industry and I have not dissed a customet.
Hard time finding the front door ended up going in through the exit door. Customer service was of course on the other end of the store. The wait at customer service was super slow with only 2 people working and those customers were monopolizing their time.
This home depot is okay. Never try to park at bottom level it's disastrous. You're better off going up the ramp and park at second level. Way less of a hassle. I found a really nice calladium it was the last one. But why does it look like most their plants are dying? I don't like that. They need to take better care. I wanted one of those big Palm plants but they're like dying and cut in half At the leaves.
They request wearing a mask. Forgot mine in car. The person I was dealing with was so nice in asking me to put one on. Not for me but for her. Not in your face and not accusing. The way people should interact with each other.
Good customer service at night shift I ben there before at day time and I don't like customer service at the day. So I will give a 3 stars only.
Bought a “new” Dyson V8 Animal cordless vacuum for $400. Came home and not only was it very used (hair and animal hair still wrapped in the vacuum head!) and broken, it was an old model — the V7! Someone returned their old and gross used Dyson for a brand new one and the return desk didn’t event think to open the box and inspect? How many other things are returned to this store and never inspected and therefore USED when the next customer believes they’re getting something NEW. This should have been disclosed as “Open Box” item. I’ve been trying to call and no one is answering.
Always pleasant visiting a home depot. Worker were very helpful thought out my visit. But they need to label the store arrangement better. Could be daunting sometimes.
I usually find what I am looking for when I come here. I haven't had the best experience when I order something to be delivered here. This one particular item arrived 3 times broken. There was never a solution on fixing it. If something is either arriving broken or is breaking upon unloading then why not figure it out.
