The Home Depot, Port Chester NY

All I see is people standing around doing nothing. There’s maybe three people in the whole store that actually do something. The shopping carts are very limited for ones that have wheels. Only three big carts for plywood. They also have no wheels left.
Material on shelves are a mess and good luck finding anything.

This is the worst Home Depot in Westchester by far. Don't bother ordering curbside - your order will never be brought out to you. The staff is stares at you blankly or shouts when you ask for help. They turned off self checkout because "there is too much stealing" so they yell at you if you try to use it. If you even pause at the cash back screen they will shout "No Cash Back! ". Had to block the credit card reader with my hand so I could select the options I wanted as otherwise the staff was going to select their preferences for me. I only come here when they don't have what I need at my main location, but from now on I'll be trying ACE instead. It's way too rage inducing to shop here.

I have never experienced such horrible customer service than Home Depot. I ordered a set of shower doors on line and they were delivered at 10 PM in front of my garage door. They were very poorly packed and when I had someone try to move them in the garage the box fell apart. I requested a pickup for credit. It is over a week and they still have not given me a pickup date. I would never purchase any large item from this company. Clearly they do not understand Customer service.

Good place to shop for tools and other stuff as we all know, lines are usually long but they move really quick which is why I gave them 5stars

Sebastian is the best associate.he was able to sort out the issue I had with a weed killer which didn't look right.he has lots of badges of honour on his apron. I know why now.thanks. Micky, a pro customer!

I had the worst experance in this place. I went into this home depot to return an item to get the exact same item. The cashier was totally against it and start to argue with me about doing an even exchange. The cashier said that it was not allowed due to the policy of the store which is totally wrong. I then asked to speak with a manager which took forever then one appeared and i asked to speak with him his name was Chris and he stated not at this time and walked away from me. I was trying to tell him about the issue that I had and he could not be bothered and totally disregarded a customer with an issue. I have to say what a lack of professionalism on his behalf and should not be a manager. As for the cashier She should be fired on the spot no questions asked.

I will tell everyone to stay far away from this place. The stamford location is much better and more professional

Waited an hour to get help to purchase a bottle of vinegar and no one came over. Their website indicated 31 bottles were in the aisle where I stood.

Patti was so helpful when I visited on 7/1/22! She is knowledgeable, personable and dedicated to customer satisfaction. She is a treasure!

If you don’t need ANY assistance its a good place, but by the time you need someone to help you, just forget it, its the worst place on earth, they don’t care about the costumers, they don’t give a S…. About you, its almost like we’re invisible, they avoid you, and when you finally find someone to help, they do that like they are dying, or maybe even worse, like they are doing a favor to you! Terrible customer service!

I was there this morning to pick up flooring and I have to say everyone was terrific and very responsive. The guys helped me load all the flooring into my car quickly and professionally. Might have been the best customer service I've ever had at any home Depot.

Useful selection of hardware. Not expensive, but you get what you pay for, staff almost useless because few really know what they are doing. You see that particularly at check out

This is a terribly run location. For every day items that should be available all the time, there is a 33% chance it’s available, 33% chance it’s up in the rafters (there’s no interest in filling empty shelves from above), or 33% chance it’s nowhere to be found. And this was the case prior to the pandemic as well. Westchester deserves, and Home Depot can do much better.

Good luck getting anybody to help you here if you ask for help they direct you to somebody else who directed somebody else to his direction to somebody else. If you want customer service at its worst this is the place you might want to help yourself and use the app you can get a lot more done that way

Manager! Or whoever is responsible for carts, PLEASE ORDER MORE LUMBER CARTS!
Now it looks like they have 4 lumber carts for entire store to use. I'm not often use table carts, but those are rarity as well.
Another big issue: why self checkout is not allowed? Sometimes line inside store is like 200' long. It moves, yes, but why one must waste 10 minutes just waiting in line.

It's not the greatest home depot out there. Items in all areas continue to be out of stock especially plumbing and electrical. And paint mixing starts at 10am? Go figure.

Possibly the worst HD. Staff is lazy and don't even bother stepping outside for curbside pickup. I waited for 45 minutes and still no body at curbside pickup after checking in. Why even offer it in that case! I eventually had to go inside to pickup the item after nearly an hour and the store wasn't even busy.

Inside is no different, stay away if you can. The staff was busy talking with one another and could care less about their customers.
