The Home Depot, Rochester NY

Typical of the experience at Home Depot centers in Greece AND Henrietta, NY. Why take our time with looking online to see if you have stock and it says you do BUT in true HD fashion, you don’t have any. What’s the point of your failed inventory system? I’m interested to know how you as a company are OK with your continued failed customer service? Then when you go in to the locations to physically check and even your staff say, “Must be one of our computer glitches. ” No, no it’s not one of your glitches. It’s your ill attempt at inventory management and an excuse painted by your elusive employees. Lowe’s might be similar BUT at least the staff actually try. #anothergrossexperience

I just posted a review for the panorama store and I was so mad that I went to Henrietta the next time I needed to go to Home Depot and I can’t say enough. At panorama I had an item to return and the same at the henrietta store and henrietta was so much more helpful and the employees were so nice and NOT condescending. Even though Henrietta is twice the distance for me I don’t care and will be making this my new Home Depot. Thank you to the service desk gentleman that’s helped me I so appreciated it and did what I asked with no issue

Home Depot is a good store to shop if you know what you are in need of or looking for. The customer service is absolutely terrible. Prices are on point with its competitors, and they will price match.

Update: NO, NONE, NOT ANYONE on the checkouts ANYWHERE! HUGE LONG LINE FOR SELF CHECK OUT! 20 customers at least. Does anyone actually work there?
Dropped all my shopping and left.
They just lost about $400 from me!
I hope some form of management finally realizes that the money they save by not having cashiers is far outweighed by lost sales?
The service counters are equally overwhelmed with 12 plus people in line?
Minimum staff, minimum effort = lost sales and defecting/boycotting customers.
Impossible to find anyone that could tell you where they are hiding what you are looking for, and when you do actually uncover some poor quality pice of junk that MIGHT work, you can’t check out as no one is working the checkouts except one hopelessly overwhelmed worker.
The rest of them are behind desks resolutely looking away!
Gave up and tossed my potential purchase onto the desk of said staff who did not bother to turn around, AND WENT TO LOWES INSTEAD!

Home Depot normally has all the things I can't find at other places like lowes and the prices are comparable, if not better.

So apparently a military ID isn’t good enough for this location they need a store manager to make you feel like a criminal for 10%
I’ll never shop here again - good thing there is lowes who always accept my ID

Always coming here to get items for my house. Always in stock of items with great selections and good prices.

I said "excuse me" to a worker ti see if I could get some help, he turned and said "I'm busy lady" and there was no one else around to ask a question. Thankfully CountryMax and The Garden factory sell the same products with nicer staff.

Love, love, LOVE this store.always helpful people in every department. Always able to find things I'm looking for very easily.
I've recently had them come and install carpet in my home.the whole process was simple and fast.including the install!
Can't wait to have them come back to install hardwood floors too!

This is rated number 1 in sales and service. I can't wait to buy my new washer and dryer here after I move to Henrietta!

Needed to pick up an AC. Was really hard to get assistance. Once Corey helped us get the AC.we went to the pro desk. Ron was sitting there, was looking right at us and went to text on his phone. Everyone in the store seemed to not know anything about what was going on. We ended up just leaving and going somewhere else.

Especially at the Pro desk you expect decent customer service.

Found an employee to direct me to the rock salt which is by the commercial entrance. No help to put it in my cart. 50 lb is a lot to lift
