The Home Depot reviews
19Our landlord ordered a new washer and dryer, and paid extra for installation and hauling away of the old, broken units. When the guys arrived, they dropped them by the front door and said “finished”. They said the “new company” that does deliveries says no installation and hauling away is possible. So now we have a broken washer and dryer all connected up, a two week old pile of laundry to do, and a new washer dryer set stacked up in our living space and blocking our door, and Home Depot appears to be keeping the money for a service they did not provide.
I went there with a list of things and asked about five people while I was looking and everyone new exactly where I should go. No more, "Not my department. " One from electricity walked me downstairs to find something sold out upstairs. Home Depot still has issues, but the staff in this store from my brief experience, are all awesome.
Always the best place to shop for everything you need under one roof all at an affordable pricing! Spacious isles, friendly, knowledgeable and courteous staff who’s always willing to help you locate whatever you may need. They’ve got so much to choose from all at prices to suit your budget. The area is also wonderful. There’s food spots nearby, easy access to the subways (M, F, R, 1 trains) and some buses also. Chelsea is always a great neighborhood for your shopping with a variety of options.
Home Depot- enjoying life one day at a time!
Customer service was helpful. They seem to have more assistance available then most Home Depot stores.
Home Depot located on 23rd ST Manhattan, obviously smaller than the suburban locations. And to note of which I did not know, they do not stock any flooring tiles that are of the Porcelain or granite type, only vinyl. For many of the large items, you have to order online.
Regular HD store at the core of Manhattan. Didn't find what I came for but an employee recommended a nearby specialist store which sells it. So it was a good trip there.
Endroit à visiter absolument pour tout les fans de bricolage décoration et autres travaux ouvriers.
Temperature is always way too hot in this store. Associates busy working shelves should be helping customers during the day
World class home depot very well run stocked and staffed right in the middle of Manhattan, unbelievable
Do not order carpeting through home depot! They delivered it 2 weeks late, got the measurements wrong on my order, and their resolution specialists wont return any of my calls! Do yourself a favor, go to lowes! Buyer beware!
Great store. It has everything you need and a very friendly staff. Its conveniently located, easily accessible to transit.
I was very pleased with my experience at Home Depot. I want to revamp my kitchen cabinets and the associate was very helpful in finding a kit for me. Then I saw the beautiful xmas trees on display and fell in winter love. Had to purchase! Very professional staff.
Huge place with everything you'd need for home improvement or large craft projects. I just wished there were an index where you could search and locate your desired item in the store, instead of roaming around like in a video game, or looking for an employee to ask where things are.
From the moment we entered this beautiful Home Depot with stunning lighting and interior for most any store, let alone a Home Depot, we were greeted warmly and asked how our morning was along with assisting us to the online order counter. As we approached the counter Evan was ready to help and did so with an outstanding demeanor and expedience. The entire errand made our morning and I recommend this location above all others!
Also, my new tool box is just everything!
Convenient, but pricing becoming problematical. There many items that are priced too high. An increasing problem. Hell Amazon add-ons.
The staff is very helpful and professional. Always willing to go above and beyond to help. Leslie in Decor is amazing.
The sales rep on the lower level did not want to be bothered into looking if they had an item required to make my purchase. So I walked out not buying anything.
There were plenty of sales associates available on the selling floor immediately when I walked in. Each person was knowledgeable and pleasant.
Definitely located at a conviene location where it’s nearby the F, M, R, N, W and Path train. Best of all if know what you want and you order your stuff online and pick up from the location, it’s quick. Go straight to Customer Service, give them your name and ID and boom, you get your product. The guy that helped me was friendly too. Great customer service for sure.
It's bigger than your local hardware store. But smaller than your typical Home Depot. This place has two floors. Escalators to go down. It even has self check out, which is great for when you have one or two items. It's grab and go during a lunch break or after work. It's about a block from the train station too. It usually has all the items I need for typical home repair. I come here often when I need something for my house. I really like that you can order what you need online and then pick it up in person at the customer service desk. The people who work here are very friendly and helpful too!
Cons:
Since it's a small store, you're unable to cut the wood you buy here like you would at a typical Home Depot.
The tool rental section here can be hit or miss because it's a smaller store.
