The Home Depot reviews
23A one-stop-shop for your home needs so long you can help yourself. Floor help sucks tremendously. I never use any HD for paint. Large parking and self checkout are pluses.
Very organized. I went online and found what I wanted.then went to the store to pick it up.easy and fast.
The employees the just walk right by you and knowing you need assistance and if it’s like you don’t even exist what a way to run a business very poor customer support
Bought their 25 year protection plan when we replaced our roof 8 years ago. Now they claim that they don’t do roofing and told us someone will call us within 2 days when we complained about a leak on the roof at the college point store in 31st Ave, queens, NY, one week later, nothing! Just a BS! Customers be very aware if you are want to get big jobs done with Home Depot.
Asked for help, tried to help me for 5 seconds, says he'd be right back and never came back. Thought I would get some actual service. Better off going to home depot
College point store customer service phone line treat u impatien and hang up ur calls.delivery never arrive and they will blame u for not picking up the for phone for the delivery guy but actually thry never call.what a awful shoppingng experience.next time gonna switch to lowes
Usually a good choice. However today was horrendous. Bought a cieling fan a month or so ago. Finally got around to installing it. Got it in without issue really well made fan. Went to put on the globe and it was cracked. Called Hampton bay CS no problem they checked store inventory they had it in stock told to go to CS at the store and pick it up no worries right? Not exactly, after 30 minutes being told not to cop an attitude, I am a realtor I know how not to cop can attitude, 3 customer service people and some type of manager later I left without the replacement part. Bad form Home Depot.
I am only writing this out of frustration because if we are all wearing masks and protected then why the line a mile long? Why the 6foot gap between sheep, i mean people? I ordered online, waited in the parking lot and four hours later i find out my order was canceled because they only had 5 items, not the seven i ordered. I did not receive an email, not a text message not even a phone call. I had to re order the five and wait another two hours. I am not blaming the store or employees, because when they found out, i had the items in ten minutes. Just very disappointed.
Very slow and unresponsive staff when you need assistance. Noone comes to ask you if you need something. You need to look for them and after paging the person, noone shows up.
The workers are not educated on their product. Hard to find someone who can answer my questions on products and locations of the products. Happened in many times.
A one-stop-shop for your home needs so long you can help yourself. Floor help sucks tremendously. Visit private businesses for your respective paint, cabinetry or lumber needs when a non brain dead human is required. Large parking and self checkout are pluses.
Do not allow dogs unless they fit in the cart. They told me my golden retriever cannot come in even though the store policy says “dog friendly”. Very disappointed. Probably cuz this is NYC, or probably cuz I’m Asian. Oh well.
It was hard to find kitchen department personnel to answer questions about microwaves and hood vents. And the new key making machine made faulty copies of my keys.
Like every other home Depot. I like this location because less people, shorter lines. To save time, use the home Depot app and it tells you the locations of items you are looking for. Sometimes, finding someone for help or a knowledgable staff can be hard at any home depot.
Great place to shop. Unfortunately they didnt have what I was looking for. The personal was very helpful trying to find a substitute. Maybe next time.
Get all you want! Lots choices! Helpful staff! Convenient! Free parking. Great for people who wants to DIY!
Online purchase, in store return, very convenient; however, not always efficient. Overall, it is a good place to shop for materials for home remodeling.
By far the best Home Depot in Queens. Everything is nicely organized, easy to find what ever your looking for. And if your looking to purchase some tools (powered or hand) ask for Kevin, he is very informative and will guide you in finding the perfect tool for your job. Or if your just a tool junky you can just do some tool talk with the guy. He is really out going and supper friendly. Definitely worth a visit.
After waiting for employees in order to ask where the bathroom was.the employee was talking on his phone and using his phone, he didn't pay any attention and said I had to wait for him to top using his phone. Aren't they suppose to be working and helping others on their working hours?
Bad service in this Home Depot.
The guy name Gabriel should take client service classes.
Four customers are waiting at self checkout with problems. After several minutes the attendant walks over, helps a few people, answers her phone, leaves. Another few minutes later I still can't scan the large item. The attendant advises her scanner doesnt work so I need to read the numbers to her. I left and went to Lowes.
