The Home Depot reviews
17I only came to leave a review specifically for Marlon, who helped us out when we came looking for vinyl tile. Not only did he offer friendly and useful advice about our process of laying the tile, he went above and beyond to make sure we got exactly what we were looking for when another associate had told us that the product was unavailable. He completely made our night and saved the day! Thank you Marlon!
No self checkout option. Only 1 or 2 cash counter is a available. Most of the hardware is misplaced. Closet accessories are misplaced or empty.
It take 30 minutes to get to the cash counter. The line is way too long. Goes around the entire store. Not worth coming to the store at all.
The store is always crowded which is fine because of their good prices but it's always two registers open maybe a third. This is a hectic time because everyone is trying to buy air conditioners. The line should not rap around the store and go all the way back into it
Rarely do you go to a big box store and get amazing customer service. I interacted with three different employees. One solicited, one not as well as the check out person. They all were exceptional. I will always use this Home Depot when in the Bronx. Awesome
Attitude is horrible employees dont know nothing i went to find a washer for kitchen faucet and the worker in the department didnt know what a washer was. Secondly i went to get a paint wood color and the worker gets a attitude telling me i should had known the color before hand.employees are always playing on the phones.
Poor customer service. I had an order pickup and it took me.almost 30 minutes to get it. And when I finally got it. The product was damaged and missing parts. Needless to say, I got my money back. Avoid this store. (Not all Home Depot are bad.).
Just went there to try and buy an air conditioner, but ended up playing a game of Hide and Seek with workers because I couldn't find anyone to assist me for 30 minutes. The floors in the back are covered with wood shavings and on rare occasions broken glass.
Horrible! The place is a mess! Home Depot website shows there were 4 pieces of ⅜” female flare gas fitting adapter in aisle 30 bay 16. Could not find anything in that bay since it's a complete mess. Its like that in many parts of this store.
Unfriendly staff. It's plain to see that no one really cares by just looking at some of these aisles. When I asked a sales person about the mess at aisle 30 bay 16, he stated. "I was going to fix that yesterday", and walked away. 1 star is too much
Terrible customer service. Called to ask if they had a product, employee immediately said no when in fact they did have it. Upon arriving at the store it took 20 minutes to get anyone to help. All employees were nonchalant and clearly did not want to be bothered. Most of them were unfamiliar with hardware products/services.
They are the worst, just hangs up phone before your finish, never have answers for most question. I say again the worst.
This review is not geared at Home Depot in a whole because I have experienced professionalism in other branches. Unfortunately, I am doing a project with this hell hole of incompetence. It has been a month with nothing but lies and managers passing the buck to one another and the client with a purchase of over $5k incomplete. Corporate has been sent an email, let's see how that goes however I still not have received my paid merchandise or the promised phone call.
An ok store, don't go inside without knowing what you want, most of the people working there are just doing that working, don't go in asking a million questions hoping they know the answer
Can't say anything about customer service because is none existant, was there looking for help for 30 minutes to cut a piece of wood and was a mission impossible.
It was a gd experience even though I was not able to find what I was looking for at first the young man gave his best effort and time to help me
Asked for help and was told "you should look for someone in another section". Useless.
However, the employees that know what they are doing are very nice. Ramon held it down in Lumber, I had a million questions
FLOORING DEPARTMENT
Ghetto attitudes and rather than get off their butt and walk 10 feet to get an answer to my enquiry, I was transferred to the operator to look it up online. The operator said that the person that I originally spoke with could have looked the information up herself. I was placed on hold for 15 minutes. I drove 30 minutes to the location with tapemeasure in hand and it took less than 20 seconds to get the answer. Terrible to see people collecting pay for just showing up.
