The House of Cannabis (THC NYC)

We went to the opening party this week and had oh so much fun! Damien, the door man helped set the mood from the get-go. Whoever hired this man knew what they were doing. Damien told us about the place and managed our expectations as we waited for the elevator to return from the Green Room on the 5th floor.

It was a brief wait as we checked our coats before we got on line for the bar and that line moved pretty fast. Our Moscow Mules were yummy and went down real fast and easy while we sat on a comfortable window sill, taking in the room, the crowd, and just chilling.

The vibe reminded us of The World, a club on Houston Street back in the 1980s. It was my favorite club and I was there at least twice a week with my roommates and sister. Such fun. So yeah, I loved the Green Room at THC. We plan to visit the museum on the first floor when we return. Oh, and they offer a concierge service. GO!

This place is amazing! Everyone is so friendly. They’re knowledgeable and they take their time explaining which makes the museum feel longer and not rushed at all.exhibits are beautiful and mostly interactive. They hit every topic and it is so so cool. Would def visit again!

I went with my girlfriend it was a really nice time. They have a lounge you can hang out in and relax before you go through rooms. Each room has a different theme. We really enjoyed it! The light show with the stoner playlist she liked the best. The team was super nice and friendly

There's nothing to rave about this place. It's just a fun house to relax and get high. There's a little history about cannabis and some tripping rooms to relax.

Nothing spectacular, during some of it, we felt rushed.my girlfriend was reading some stuff on the walls but couldn’t even get through it because the guy was talking to her while she was reading to get us to move to the next section. I didn’t appreciate that.
I paid for VIP tickets $75 and had to ask for my tote bag with good after the fact because they never gave it to me
It was a skimpy bag with a lighter and rolling paper, not good quality either.

I didn't go to the actual exhibit just the lobby but the lobby was really cool There were a bunch of bong sculptures in the front and towards the back there was a cafe and 420 Bodega in the back. You can even order edibles, pre rolls, and 2 once jars on the back kiosks. It was pretty dope. I'll come back to explore the entire museum

Sub par at best. I came expecting something amazing but ended up arriving at a messy place. The vibe seemed forced and the staff does little to nothing to help you out or is rude or are completely unwilling to fully help out or interact (the exceptions would be like 3 staff memes that were willing to interact and vibe). Also the VIP tickets are a scam, they promised on the site that it promises the following: “Skip the line and begin the experience through a private entrance - A custom THC tote bag including a branded lighter, rolling papers, and more” but all you get is an empty tote bag with matches…i honestly gave those away to the man selling weed outside…total rip off…. They have the vision and try but don’t seem committed and the tickets feel like a scam. The only decent thing is the lounge but even that seems bland for the seasoned stoner

Also these people need some organization the experience was not that much pleasing like you get lost but cant find your way around. They surely are trying to sell something that’s not 100% real yet but could turn out to be something. So readers don’t buy the VIP thinking it’s gonna be something to tell cuz it’s a scam all together and if the museum reads this you gotta step up your game and big time! Having the people navigate at random kinda ruins the experience, you got something, now get cooking and making this the best thing possible cuz right now it’s a beautiful concept but just a concept mainly targeted to the airhead stoner or fad stoner not the stoners who are serious about their smoking and weed habits and are knowledgeable, you can fool a fool but not an intelectual stoner…take this review as a call to improve

They museum was good, but what really made my visit GREAT was the employees - specifically Maggie, Morgan, and Damion. I got a bit sick after I checked in and was unable to complete my visit, but all 3 employees took care of me! From Morgan and Maggie helping me with advice and offering me drinks to get hydrated, to Maggie helping me rebook at no extra charge, the community here is great. I highly recommend

I really liked the house of cannabis. But I would say this don't buy the VIP ticket. We got a tote bag and a lighter and a pack of papers for the "extras"
The place itself was clean and you can get coffee in the shop before you head in. However if you like to partake in the local vitamins you may want to take your vitamins before you go inside.
Exhibits were cool but the hosts didn't explain things very well or speak to where we could hear them. Was a fun time for something to check out on a rainy day. Their t-shirts were cool, check those out.

40 dollars a ticket for a 30 minute mediocre experience. Lazily put together and very basic. I was mind blown at all the hype. The spinning record at the end was the last straw. Waste of money buy flower somewhere else instead

I had a great time with my family the events were really fun definitely made you think I can tell over time the events will only get better.

Such a fun interactive museum! We had a great time walking through all the installments. The staff is super friendly, they have a great gift shop and coffee store and overall it’s a great time. Definitely check it out if you’re in the area.

Very cool experience, they give you time to take a smoke break if you want before going up to the exhibits, they also sell gummies in their cafe when you enter!

I was excited to go and waited months but was very underwhelmed once we finished, There were some cool things but I expected a deeper experience filled with facts and sculptures etc… the employees were very nice and attentive tho so I appreciate that part but I wouldn’t recommend or go back.

Meh, they make you get a membership to buy product. The day pass is $10. If you’re just looking for a quick pre-roll, this is definitely not the spot. The interior design is pretty cool, but that’s not what I came for.
