The Immigrant reviews
16This place has a lovely ambiance. I highly recommend to catch up with a friend and enjoy company.
The name says it all.everyone welcome. Quaint and intimate. Jason is the man behind the bar. Great service
Great first date spot. So much so that my date and I had to pause the date to leave a review on how Greta of a date spot this is. Don’t believe here listen to her.
Hi! I’m the date. This spot is GREAT for a first date!
Trust me guys that wasn’t just me typing that was my date. She’s a real human bean. 5/5
Drinks were just terrible, even the wine was nasty! We figured that at least the champagne rose and spicy marg would be safe but we were very wrong. The spicy marg tasted like licking someone who just got out of a chlorine pool and the champagne rose was just terribly bland. Everything here is terribly dry, I'd be pretty careful taking folks here
Edit: To the reply I'd say if you are a dry focused establishment I'd at least put one or two things on the menu that are not dry as otherwise folks who walk in from off the street could land themselves in the same situation as us
This is the cutest little wine bar in nyc! The wine menu is absolutely amazing and I can’t recommend the 500ml orange wine for funky, natural wine lovers.
This is literally the only bar I have seen my wife order a Manhattan and then be satisfied with it. I don't know why she's like this, but apparently The Immigrant makes a decent Manhattan. I usually get a gin martini, those are also good. The atmosphere is lovely, there's always some cool people hanging out at the bar and some idiot children on a first tinder date you can eavesdrop on.
Best! I lost my phone there, the owner helps a lot! And people there are very good! Drinks are good! Will come again! Recommend it!
This two sided bar has a tap room and wine bar. Great selection of craft beers and decent wine selection.
A nice lovely place with a great variety of wines. We went there to have some of their cocktails.
All cocktails tasted great. In addition the service was all the time friendly. A great place to chill for afterwork or to have a drink after dinner.
Came here during dineLA in July '19. The in-house pasta really makes a big difference its really high quality stuff and tastes great. I also order calamari like a basic b, but I love calamari and this was well made. Overall, my experience was great, the food is really good and I wish I still worked across the street so I could visit more often.
Very respectful of customers during COVID. They are strict about masks and the staff wears them at all times. Solid beer selection, great place to drink in the east village!
This place is a hidden gem, even during a pandemic. I stopped by and had a couple of drinks outside and they were perfect. I'm definitely coming back again.
Best little wine bar in NY. I discovered my favourite wine there over New Years. It will be back!
I'm just a small town Minnesota guy that struggles with golf and euchre. Would The Immigrant be a suitable and welcoming experience for someone like me?
Went here on a date and loved the cozy bar. The bartender was really nice. I was fickle minded in which wine to order and she let me taste few wines to finally decide which one I wanted. Would definitely recommend this place to all the wine lovers out there.
My husband and I had wonderful time here last night while grabbing a drink. The bar tender was fantastic (had the greatest mustache too!) And was incredible about making sure everyone in his very busy bar was well-taken care of. The drink selection was great - a lot of solid classics, and good small bite options. We will definitely be back, and recommend to friends!
