We were looking for a cute, historical b&b just for a night away.we LOVED it here! Felt like we were home! Just steps off the main street, very quiet, and the hospitality is outstanding! Breakfast was just perfect! Rooms very clean and comfortable, nice little touches throughout. Thank you for such a personal experience in your beautiful old home!

We agree with all of the positive reviews. We were at the Inn for two nights in late September, and we were in a "classic" room on the third floor with a queen and a single for 3 people. The room was a little smaller than I had imagined with only one chair. On the other hand, the first floor parlor area (actually 2 connected rooms) was a very nice place to park ourselves from 8 to 10 pm both nights we were there. Despite the fact that the parking lot appeared nearly filled to capacity, we had the rooms to ourselves both nights. My wife and I were able to do a little computer work and our son watched TV. Even if there had been someone in the parlor area, we could have used the dining tables to work on the computers. There was a sophisticated Keurig type coffee/tea maker in the parlor. The stairs are narrow and would be difficult to negotiate with a large suitcase, but I was able to get our carryon suitcases up the stairs without a problem (I am 71 years old). The heater worked well, there was plenty of hot water, the bathroom was large, the beds were comfortable, and we noticed very little room noise. We noticed no drafts even though the building was originally constructed in the 1870's. The staff was friendly, polite and helpful. The breakfast was good with excellent muffins, a fresh fruit salad, yogurt, toast, juice, and frittatas. We will stay there the next time we are in Cooperstown.

My first time at a B&B and it was the best time ever.short five minute walk to the Hall of Fame and the rooms were super clean. Loved the excellent breakfast with your choice of two different kind of hot muffins along with all the rest of the eggs, toast fresh fruit, and yogurts. Staff was very helpful in suggesting places for dinner and seeing if you needed anything else for your stay. I wish we could have stayed longer than two nights, but my son had to return to work in CT and my husband and I had to head back to Florida

We chose The Inn at Cooperstown because of its proximity to the Baseball Hall of Fame…. But the GM (Hope) and her staff of this beautiful hotel made our visit just perfect! The room was bright and clean, and they serve a wonderful breakfast to help get your day started right! We will go back!

Charming inn centrally located in walking distance to all of the main attractions in Cooperstown. The view from our room in the front of the house was lovely, the owners are kind & helpful, and the breakfasts are delicious. My review is actually 4.5 stars and my only suggestions would be to get rid of the carpet in the rooms and update the bed spreads. These two elements just feel more like a chain motel than the gorgeous inn that it is.

Solid location in Cooperstown, close to the Baseball Hall of Fame. Friendly staff, who was very accommodating with our late arrival (1am) after a cancelled flight. Disappointed by a few things during our stay:
1. Bed was rock hard/has definitely seen better days. We were in room 38, so could just be our bed but it was not comfortable.
2. We stayed for 3 nights and were told our room would only be serviced on the second day. It was NEVER SERVICED. We thought it was a little odd that it hadn’t been cleaned by midafternoon, so we asked at the front desk and the gentleman let us know the cleaning staff had left for the day and offered some fresh towels.
3. While breakfast is offered from 8-9: 30 each morning, be prepared to be woken up by the housekeepers cleaning rooms close to yours before 9: 30. I know they have a small crew and up to 18 rooms to clean, but it was definitely alarming to be woken up before 9 by a vacuum cleaner. You’d think they’d wait until after breakfast closes to start cleaning the rooms?
4. Breakfast leaves much to be desired. We kept having to remind ourselves this is an INN and not a B&B. The breakfast is very simple and set up buffet style. Yogurt, fruit, egg dish, bread and muffins. We flew in from the West Coast, arrived at 1am, and the first morning, came down for breakfast at 9: 20. There was a little left, but we were satisfied after our meal. The second day, still recovering from jet lag, we went downstairs at 9: 20 and breakfast was put away. Why say you are offering breakfast until 9: 30 if you’ll clean it up by then? We were offered the last 2 measly pieces of frittata and a muffin, but we were disappointed. You could tell the crew wanted to move on and finish cleaning rooms.

All in all, location is great and inn has some great charm, but don’t expect your typical B&B experience. This is great for someone passing through that doesn’t want all the frills.

A typical 19th century house, like a bed and breakfast. Rooms were small but comfortable, staff was outstanding. However many of the rooms are on the third floor so if you have bad knees it's a challenge getting your suitcase up there

It's one of those old school places that don't exist much anywhere any more. Very much a bed and breakfast. Rooms are clean and it's got a neat feel. It's not shiny new but that is what makes it what it is. It's right in the heart of Cooperstown, so everything is close. I could walk to everything that I wanted to see and do. Highly recommended.

I cannot saw enough about the staff. Their attention to detail, knowledge of the area, hospitable nature and their breakfast is worth every penny. The proximity to the Hall and all the stores is just an added bonus. Being able to relax on the porch in rocking chairs during morning coffee to catch up or plan for the day is truly a mini getaway. In the morning, when asked what kind of freshly baked muffins you want, say yes to all the choices. When asked if you want an egg cup, say yes, two please. If I’m lucky enough to return to Coop, I will definitely choose The Inn and hope I’m lucky enough that they have the space for me.
