Overpriced, tired old hotel in desperate need of renovation and cleaning. Staff is mostly unfriendly and food is mediocre.

Charming Victorian Inn is located in the heart of Saratoga Springs, New York. The hotel has been around since 1836 and has a lot of character.

I stayed in the standard double bed room. The room was spacious. It had a traditional Victorian feel with some modern upgrades.
Beware, very little outlets, and the fixtures, especially the bathroom, are a bit older and may not operate as modern hotels.

The front desk was very friendly and accommodating. Couldn't have asked for better service!

The hotel also has a number of amenities, including free Wi-Fi. Other reviews state complimentary breakfast, but breakfast was $10 per person during our stay.

I would also note that it is not a good location for crawling infants. The rooms are spacious but not baby proof. We had peeling wallpaper in our room.

Overall, The Inn at Saratoga is a great place to stay if you are looking for a relaxing and historic getaway. The hotel is located just steps from the Saratoga Race Course and walking distance to a number of other attractions. Note: Make reservations for restaurants in the area. The best ones get booked up pretty quickly.

I recently stayed here while I was taking the NY State bar exam. The room was incredibly comfortable, the staff were friendly, and most importantly for my purposes it was very quiet. I would definitely come back if I'm ever in the area again

We stayed here the night of our wedding and came back for our 2 year anniversary for dinner. The staff is great, the environment is relaxing and welcoming. I highly recommend that you check it out.

If looking for a local place with character, this is it. Historic and beautiful. Our room is spacious, bed is comfortable, and shower has just the right amount of water pressure.

There's a quant porch for sitting with a cool drink or good book. You are on a main street though, so expect traffic noise. Inside, however, it's quiet.

We returned after 30 years, and the place still looks beautiful. I think only the elevator had changed because they had a person operating it.

Five stars because it’s exactly what I imagined - a historic hotel! The Inn is in a great location, 1.5 mile walk to SPAC, and close to Broadway with coffee shops and restaurants.

Had a lovely stay during Travers weekend at the Inn at Saratoga. Our spacious room had two queen size beds and was comfortable and quiet. The breakfast, which I think was $8 per person was easy. The inn's location was a convenient walk to downtown, the museum and the track. The staff was friendly and helpful. The food and drinks were fantastic! The bartender was fantastic. They had pretty good live music on the nights we were there. The attention to detail in which they preserved the history of this beautiful inn is extraordinary. Highly recommend!

Beautiful venue for a small and elegant wedding. Although our food service took a while to reach our table (over 30 min from first table service-only 9 tables) the dishes were perfectly at temperature and plated well.

I really thought I was going to love the inn however I found it to be a bit dated and pricey. You don't really get a sense of history by staying in the actual room you just kind of look at it and say it could use some basic renovations. The bathrooms are a bit more modern. The beds are incredibly high for some reason that they give you a step stool near the end to climb up. Personally wouldn't make my way here again.there seems to be some more modern cheaper hotels in the area closer to some of the main action. Walls are pretty thin so we heard all the music and ruckus coming from the bar below. The window air conditioner had the very thin plastic filler which also allowed a lot of the street side sound to come in to the room. The soap in the shower was distributed from one of those green style pumps and ours didn't seem to work goes to show on how the staff checks on the items while getting the rooms ready.

Really clean, and walking distance to everywhere! Loved all the old antiques and large windows in the bar area!

A night to remember! When we found Bedbugs in Cottage B they moved us to a room on the first floor of the main inn. We made the mistake of flushing the toilet at 2: 14am and it took almost 10 mins.for the water to stop running and reset? !? This place has seen its day - shabby, beds are hard…the only positive thing to say is that there’s a 10% military discount. Clean rooms is hospitality 101 so its hard to unwind and feel comfortable when the place is unclean and unsanitary.

Older facility that is well maintained. Clean, fresh rooms. Great place to stay on Broadway Street. Walking distance to the shops and restaurants.
