The Kati Roll Company reviews
14Yuhoo… Indianoooo! So we went to this place really close to oculus and had mango lassi, they offer student discount of 10 percent if you have a student id, the lassi tasted well, but there’s no expiry date on the lassi. Apart from that the ambience was good and the price is reasonable.
Love this shop. Great for running in and grabbing a quick bite. Roll + Mango Lassi is a great deal!
The food is absolutely divine. A perfect combination of spicy umami with a thin flatbread. Also the carrot cake dessert is incredible, please if you go here make sure you try it. Delicious! Will be back soon
Small lunch focused place for delicious, boldly flavored and tender Indian flatbread wraps. A lot of folks get theirs to go, although there's now a little hut outside for seating. Lots of great vegetarian options! Two strong recommendations: get TWO wraps and lots of napkins as they are small and a bit messy. And order the optional sauce combination, of the two sauces, raita is my favorite but they're both good especially with the lamb wrap.
I dined in on 8th September 2023 around 7.30 pm and here is the experience
One recurring issue we encountered was the inconsistent quality of their wraps. On each visit, we anticipated a delightful culinary experience, yet each time we were disappointed. Despite ordering different types of wraps, the end result was always the same—poorly wrapped and disappointing. It is disheartening to witness a simple task such as properly wrapping a wrap being continuously overlooked.
Moreover, what amplifies our disappointment is the lackluster response from the staff when we attempted to provide feedback. On our last visit, we took the initiative to express our concerns to the cashier, hoping to convey our dissatisfaction and find out if there were improvements in the making. To our surprise, the cashier displayed a complete lack of knowledge about our feedback, stating he had no information regarding such matters. It's disconcerting when the staff members are seemingly unaware of any customer feedback loop or show little interest in rectifying recurring issues.
Preordered my chicken tikka roll and it was hot and ready when I arrived. It was delicious with just a hint of spiciness. I will definitely order again!
Love this cute little shop. Great for running in and grabbing a quick bite. One roll plus a drink is $10.00 ish which to me in NYC is a great deal! Love it and recommend it!
My work wife showed me this place and ever since I get my unda chicken roll literally everyday. It’s a great value and incredibly tasty lunch. The people at the maiden lane location even know me by name already I don’t even have to wait in line anymore
Tried the chicken tikka khaati roll. I could only taste the green chutney (sauce). Not what i expected.
The first time I came, I loved it. The food was great, the service was great and I was gifted a delicious cup of tea. I’ve been back three times since and plan on doing it more often! Thank you!
Ordered 1 Chicken Tikka roll on the whole wheat Roti for the first time. Very delicious. Definitely will go on as one of my lunch selections.
This is one of our favorite Indian food chain for over years. Our must visit when in NYC, chicken tikka (available) and shrimp rolls (no longer available) are our favorites. Peak hours will be super busy, grab and go would be best. When we visited on Saturday around 5: 30, less crowded and we could sit and relax and had a bite of our favorites! Food is fresh, same taste every time!
I must say, you would have more veggie options than non-veg!
Better than the McDougal Street location that I remember as the rolls were less greasy. Plenty of vegetarian or vegan options. The paratha rolls were nice. Super fast service food was ready in no time which was great as we were in a rush. The vegan momo (dumplings) were nice and unlike Chinese dumplings, Indian ones have no sugar added in the filling! The masala chai was also good.
Went here today for the first time with my work wife. We both thought the food was so delicious! I had the Chicken Tikka Roll and she had the Aloo Masala Roll. I also ordered a side of the home made spicy chips. The rolls were so good and the chips were seasoned perfectly and nice and crunchy. Everything tasted so fresh and was so well seasoned. The perfect meal to enjoy while walking around. The staff was so kind and respectful and the place is small but had so much charm. Will def be back.
