The Kid's Room Childcare, Bronx NY

My daughter attended a Kid’s room childcare for a year and 2 month’s. In that time she learned so much. What I love about this daycare is that Belkis is very focused on the children’s education. The staff is great, everyone there is like family. I am really glad my daughter attended Belkis day care.

My child has been going here for about 6 months and she knows her ABCs, shapes, colors, numbers 1-20, always singing and dancing and loves all her "teachers" and friends very much. Great environment. Very kind friendly and understanding people. Always having the children as the main focus 100%of the time. Better then Pre K!

I grew up going to this day care when younger. I Had amazing experience and I learn so much. I also grew an amazing bond with Belkys. Her and her staff are wondering.

Belkys is a wonderful. Great prices! & also her and her staff provide amazing service. My daughter attended this day care. I loved the service because they treated me and my family with respect and dignity.

The Kids’ Room Childcare is by far the best childcare center I’ve known. Belkys and her staff not only took excellent care of my son, (who attended from 5 months old till 3 years old) but they taught him letter recognition, letter sounds, sight words, word families, how to count to 200 and much more. These skills helped my son develop a lifelong love for learning and reading. Aside from early phonological and math awareness, Belkys taught my son social emotional skills and how to be independent. I was a first time mom and Belkys helped guide me in raising my son. My son is now a sixth grader who has a 95+ grade point average, great leadership and teamwork skills. I can honestly say that Belkys, my son’s first teacher, has a lot to do with his successes and I am eternally grateful.

If I could give 10 stars, that still wouldn’t be enough. Belkys and her staff are INCREDIBLE! They are attentive, caring and patient. The daycare is clean and well organized. The best decision I ever made was to trust Belkys with the care and early education of my two daughters from 2002 - 2007. My girls excelled and thrived and both passed the Gifted and Talented exams because of Belkys’ tutelage. She instilled a love of reading and learning in my girls that helped them succeed in their future academic careers. My girls LOVED attending The Kid’s Room Childcare and would excitedly tell stories of all the fun activities they were doing and the new things they learned. Often, there would be times my girls did not even want to leave when I went to pick them up - lol. I can not rave enough about the quality of care and education Belkys provides. My life long praise and thanks go to Belkys and her staff at The Kid’s Room Childcare.

We absolutely love seeing how much our daughter has grown and all she’s learned since she started at TKR. At 2 1/2 y.o. Her vocabulary and recognition of numbers and letters (visual & sounds) are astounding.everyday I pick up something new! Belkis provides a solid curriculum that is setting up our daughter for success and we couldn’t be happier with all that she does!

The childcare providers are second to none! I never have to worry about my children while in the care of Belkys and employees. The love and attention is extraordinary. My children have fostered tremendously being at The Kids Room. In fact, my son is currently potty training under the direction of the staff. A feat at which I could not succeed! My kids love it here!

Belkis does such a wonderful job with my 2 youngest girls including my 4 month old! My 3 year old is always happy to go to school and is learning so much! Thank you Belkis for all the hardwork and dedication you put into our children's education. It is comforting knowing they are in a safe welcoming environment day in and day out.

Belkys and her staff have helped our daughter grow incredibly. The staff members are nurturing and provide our daughter with the educational learning, routine, and structure. At two, she already has learned the alphabet and sounds, shapes, and counting (sometimes to one hundred). As teachers, my wife and I love this. It's absolutely clear that Belkys loves her job, the kids, and has the experience that will help our daughter continue to learn and do well. This is something that's hard to find in a daycare and we're so glad we've found it here. Our daughter also loves being a part of the daycare. Wonderful daycare and we are fortunate to have our daughter there.

Both of my daughters went to her daycare and they were taken care of very well. Belkys taught them the sounds of the letters in the alphabet. My girls loved her. She is great.

We loved how caring and loving Belkis is with the kids, while teaching and preparing them for the gifted and talented test as well as pre-k. Our son was way ahead of his class.
