The Lagoon, Lake George NY

We came here to get out of the rain. We ended up spending the whole afternoon! Very cozy atmosphere with incredibly friendly staff. The drink were great, the food was great, and it was very family friendly. Thank you to the Lagoon for hosting us for the afternoon, we will be back!

This was our first visit and it was great. Great good, service, and atmosphere. Will revisit for sure!

The Grandma's pie was good, but I wish I had tried their variation of a pineapple pie. I am not a big fan of putting pineapple on a pizza, but it was not the normal ham that was being offered with it. I should have tried that instead. I would definitely go back just to try that. LOL

Great views of lake from deck! Excellent food! Kid friendly. Pet friendly. Great service. Would recommend!

I can't rate the food because we never got it! If I could give the service a negative star, I would! All we ordered was 2 soups and a pizza. We waited 20 minutes to get our soup! We asked several times but no one seemed to know why it we didn't get our soup yet, I mean honestly, you just ladle it into a damn bowl! And yes, we did ask for our soup before the pizza and no, it was not busy! We finally decided to leave when we noticed a table near ours was experiencing the same problem (they had waited over 30 minutes for their food, not sure what they ordered) & they had to leave because they had tickets to a boat ride. The complete lack of service was unbelievable! From hostess to server to bus staff, no one gave a damn about addressing our concerns. The only thing this place had going for it was an amazing view from their outdoor deck. My advice, don't bother unless you are truly hungry & have absolutely no where else to be.

We had a party of 8 and the hostess was less than helpful in finding us a table. When we initially asked about putting two round tables together she said she couldn't so we accepted that. Then we noticed two rectangle tables and asked about those and she seemed very annoyed. We even helped move the tables. To see the draft beers you have to scan a QR code which is annoying because they didn't have two of the beers on the list. I would think that an online list would be up to date. The wings were a little tough (overdone) and the chicken pesto sandwich was disappointing because it lacked flavor. Overall, the experience was just "ok".

Beautiful Lake George day with a Lakeside view. Menu has nice options but a little pricey. Bar drinks however were very reasonably priced. Ordered the steak tacos and fries which were both good. Very pleasant service with inside eating options if weather isn't permitting. Based on the view, will return and try the Lobster choices or wood fire pizza choices.

If we weren't hungry we would have left upon entering, we were overcome with a bar full of people screaming and being so loud you had no idea what was going on.
The food was okay but nothing that would make you want to go back. Expensive for quesadilla, fish taco and 2 drinks.

Ordered buffalo chicken pizza today which was half baked from one side. Complained to server. Also, chicken pieces were not properly dipped in buffalo sauce. The worst buffalo chicken pizza I ever had.

Service was very good and atmosphere - facing lake - is a plus point.

Adam our server is so nice & so knowledgeable in dietary restrictions/allergies - so great! Speaking of, it's great the Lagoon has plant based chickn options. Bartender Luke was also so attentive, made amazing drinks, super nice! The atmosphere is unique & so great to be by the lake, loved that they had a band playing too!

Friendly service. Great view of the lake. It is always hit or miss when it comes to gluten free options and their gluten free pizza crust was very good.

Visited on a very quiet night. I was sat right away. Service was quick and professional. It was a chilly night so I sat inside but they have a nice deck with seating that looks over the lake. The burger and fries were very delicious.

This restaurant was open on a Tuesday in September. Had a great time out watching the water of Lake George go by. Great pizza and nachos.

We got there on SEPT 14th, 2023, at 730pm after visiting their website, which promised live music. We were informed at the restaurant that the music was not happening. No reason was offered or given when I questioned it.

We were sat relatively quickly but then sat for at least 20 minutes with no one stopping at the table until I asked. Pizza was ok just a little undercooked IMO.
