I am very disappointed in the quality of services I received. They did not communicate where they were in the process and often dropped the ball dealing with Cashapp. I wished I received updates as often as I received billing invoices.

Extremely helpful, answered each and every one of my questions flawlessly and is a great listener. If you have any issues Barry’s the guy to speak to especially if you would like to solve them.

Want to thanks Barry and his staff for handling something for me that it was said that it couldn’t be done. They helped me with an issue no one else wanted to do. So terible services. Get payment and not handle job. It was from Sep 2021 until now. We agreed flat rate payment one time only to get job done. However, office keeps billing hourly rate. Nothing is done. Can't contact their people seems like they are running away. I am going to looking for another attorney to handle job. And will call my credit card to get back our payment. I got proves agreement to show flat rate. I want to upload it for people to see. However, I can't. I will file complain and not going to stop here.

^^^Sep 2021 follow up with office-They said their employees whom handle case are no longer with office. All cases fails behind.
***Dec 2021sent email to office and office manager regarding to all fees bill without work done and proves that this is an flat rate not hourly rate. Office manager call back and say sorry. He will fixed.
***Mar 2,2022 follow up again. File is failure due to attorney is file without signature and not able to go though by electronic files.
***Barry sorry and promised 50% discount. Attorney resent file and ask me to notary.
***Apr 11,22 I follow up again Attorney Dov told me my filling has been completed on Friday with NY court after 2-3 times failure to file with NY court.
***Apr 27,22 I follow up again and ask him how to handle his promised 50 percent off like he promised. He said it is not refund only office work credit. I told him I won't ever and never use his office again. And and ask for my update files. Nothing completed. Then Barry owner said his manager said we are using over 20 hours of their times to spent on this matter.

Only an simple Ancillary letters of Administration. Their office are failure to file 3 times. Take more than one year and file is go no where? Do they deserve to run this professional business?

Damages: Paid additional $1500 Bond for another year for the CA court.
CA attorney is waiting for documents to complete his job.
Two assets are not able to do anything. Owner mom 72 years old had to borrow money to continue pay mortgage to keep house and only waited for this Ancillary letters in order to sell houses and transfer money back to CA court.
Can't able talk to bank on owner behalf and take care of this.
I had all emails, text messages and much more. Very terrible/ Doesn't know what they are doing/ Messy operation.

Awful communication. Takes too long to get back on cases. Barry always defers to other employees and makes things more difficult than it needs to be. Firm seems to always change its mind about decisions at random. Take your business literally anywhere else.

I contacted Barry Janay on April 8th about helping my relative get transferred to a different nursing home because of the poor care he was getting. It was an urgent situation. I spent an hour on a conference call with Barry Janay explaining the situation. He told me he would send a draft letter to me for the facility by the next day. By April 13th I contacted the office because I had not received the letter. He spoke to his staff and told me the letter would be sent before the end of the day. By the next day I demanded a refund of my $ 1000.00 because I still had not received the letter. He was very rude in his response to me and they sent me a false receipt claiming that the letter was sent the day before. I looked through my emails and junk mail throughly. The letter was never sent until after I requested the refund. You can see that he has more negative reviews than positive. The negative reviews give him one star. That shows how bad the service is. I suspect the 5 star reviews are from people that know him. Take a look at his responses to the negative reviews. It’s all excuses and nasty remarks. No apologies. Don’t use this lawyer.
