The Learning Experience - Bayside, Queens NY

As a former employee at this horrible institution, I highly do not recommend working here or sending your children here. Majority of the staff, seniority mainly are beyond rude. Receptionist is incompetent! Manager is so rude. The whole place lacks communication; example went today for my last paycheck and they were unaware where they placed the after-school equipment and tried to blame me and make me pay for it.
One of the oldest teachers said and I quote: “Why are you holding that child nicely, if he is being bad, I would just throw him under my arm”
Like who says that? These are not your children where you can treat them like that. Another teacher who is new this year said and I quote “I hate him! ” - speaking about one of her students who has behavioral problems.
Working here was a horrible experience, please be aware of your children’s safety.

Unprofessional.was contacted to have an interview via zoom & when i emailed them back saying i was available, i never heard back from them.

The worst customer service. I called this school to learn more about their summer programs and the lady who answered was very rude with horrible communication. I asked her if they has any spots available for my 4 year old daughter and her answer was "is it for outside or inside? " [Which I didn't understand]. I asked her what she meant by that but she couldn't explain herself and instead, started talking about money like that's the only thing that mattered to her. I asked her if I can go in person to the school so she can explain the programs and I could see around but she said no because od COVID, which seem rare since you don't even need a mask to go in the school, but I respected it. She said she was gonna call me the next day at 1pm to show me the school through zoom. She called me at 10am and I told her that my appointment was at 1pm but, it doesn't matter that she could call my husband who she had his number because I was at work, and my husband was waiting for her call. She never called, so my husband called like 3 times and every time, she said she was gonna call back in a few minutes. Of course, she was very rude and disrespectful. I don’t even want to imagine how she would speak to children. We didn't try to call again. Our children's education should be the most important thing for every parent, therefore I won't recommend this school for any parent

This is a Amazing school, they go above and beyond. Great school and Great teachers. Effective school of leadership. The school provides excellent learning experience for the students.

I love it! My family is so much happier since putting my youngest in this school! It was worth the LONG WAIT! ️️

Our family was first introduced to TLE via the summer program back in 2017. The curriculum had creative and fun activities for the kids to explore no matter what age they were. But the main thing that brought us back year after year was the strong bond that the kids developed with the staff. They were in a real caring environment where not just the teachers loved them but even the front desk receptionist and kitchen staff really took the time to get to know our children. After three years the whole TLE staff felt like an extended family

Worst possible experience ever! The reception Samara was nice at first, after registration and paying the 'non-refundable' deposit of $185, she explained my child can start this April and she'll call me later. No follow up phone call. I check in again in May, since there was no phone call from this place, reception puts me on a long hold, bad attitude, no patience at all and dares to say I didn't fill out the forms. She checks again and so happens to find the forms and she'll call me later. Yet again no follow-up phone call. Days later I check in again, asking for the refund since I dislike their service and I will not have my child attend this place, reception says it's non-refundable but at this point the money wasn't deducted from bank, then the next day money was deducted. This is scam for the registration fee!

Thank you to the administration that always has an opening ear and listening to us parents. I appreciate you all understanding and having compassion towards our concerns and handling them quickly and professionally. Thank you to the teachers that ensure each child is provided with an individualized experience. Each of you take the time to make sure no child is left behind keeping them on course. Everyone’s positive attitude and determination to keep the children afloat is well recognized. I recommend anyone to enroll their children into this phenomenal school!

In the emotionally charged world of daycare/preschool I can imagine there are many challenges and obstacles. Being a mom of two girls myself, nothing compares to the standard I have for my own children. The team at Bayside strives for excellence. They put the children first and are down to earth and relatable. I am one out of hundreds of happy, grateful moms that appreciate the hard work and dedication that it takes to run such a high quality early childhood program.
