Park The Loch reviews
14I recently visited The Loch and was impressed by the peaceful atmosphere and natural beauty. The small waterfalls scattered throughout the area added a nice touch and made for a very serene environment. I found it to be a great spot to relax and take in the natural surroundings. It's a great spot for a picnic, hiking or just to take a stroll. The peace and quiet was great, perfect to unwind and disconnect from the world. I highly recommend a visit to The Loch, it's a must-see if you're looking for a peaceful and natural setting.
A beautiful section of Central Park that’s a little more secluded and quiet. Great for relaxing near the Pool or walking one of the forest trails.
Hidden gem. Easy just steps from subway but ask people frequently along path where to avoid circumventing which kills the refreshment (as it did for me trying to find the other falls in North Woods and never found).
As I was cycling through the park, taking in the massive buildings, even compared to the Shard. I entered a green sanctuary of trees. The path began to get rough, but I heard the faintest trickling of water and I was drawn forward to the sound, wondered across this extraordinary quaint waterfall. No where could the city be seen anymore. It was if I was back in the Whinlatter Forest in Cumbria. Very safe area in the day, well worth the Citibike ride to get there.
NYC. Thanks for all the LOVE AND support
WHY WE ABSOLUTELY LOVE NY CAMPAIGN by KING and uuuuu
Beautiful location with some wildlife. One of the best spots to hang out in the park, though it's always busy.
If you're looking for falling water, this is it. It's no Niagra Falls, despite my brother in law expecting something similar, but it's a nice spot to sit and think about your existence.
North Woods of Central Park. So different area. It's sort of secluded. Many different birds. Small waterfall. A lovely place.
The hidden gem - walked the footpath and saw this beautiful waterfall. There were birds chirping and pretty flowers. So natural, peaceful and relaxing.
This is my favorite in Central Park to meditate. The sound of the waterfalls is so relaxing.
Why 5 stars? Because Alvin aka the chipmunk always there to say hello and the same with other birds.
I am a Cosplayer filmmaker photographer I love to find great scenery in certain parts of the city and waterfalls is my favorite
Small, beginners in city hike, for people to feel like they've left the city for a few minutes.
The waterfalls provide an escape from the noises of police sirens and car honking for visitors, replacing it with the soothing sounds of birds chirping and flowing water.
What the waterfall does it allows you to enjoy the beauty of the people and the city around you.
Serene beauty in midst of central park. I totally lost track of time here. It's so quiet that one can easily forget that they are in the city. Small yet beautiful waterfalls adds to the beauty of the place. Great place for bird watching also!
