Good place to stay of you're an RIT student, amenities are well kept up with and staff are super friendly. Like anywhere it has little bumps that get fixed rather quickly by their maintenance team. Only enjoyable experiences so far!

Not worth your money, you're better off finding a unfurnished house to rent. They provide you with the most basic utilities, walls are unbefittingly thin (you can hear everything that happens in the house), and all the furniture are incredibly cheap (especially their steel chairs). You also have to pay a mandatory non-refundable insurance fee every month in addition to rent, which doesn't cover damages. I was charged an exorbitant amount of money for some minimal paint damage from the wall due to them using some of poorest quality paint that couldn't withstand basic led light strip adhesive removal.

I've been living here for two years now and have signed on for another year. This place is excellent! The staff is friendly and professional. The apartments and grounds are beautiful, quiet, and safe!

I have lived at the Lodge for almost two years and already signed a lease for a third. The staff is very friendly and they do lots of give aways & activities. I love all the events & competitions they put on for residents. Parking is great and the neighborhood is very peaceful. I live in a 4 bedroom unit; I was very pleased moving into a super clean bedroom with nice furnishings and my own bathroom. The view from my room is beautiful in the summer. The clubhouse is very nice, with lots of study space, free printing, free coffee/tea, and their mail system is cool. I see people walking their dogs all the time, but I never hear them bark even though I'm so close to the mini dog park. The fitness center is pretty nice and the pool & hot tub are amazing. The cost is high, but 12 months here is still much less expensive than 9 months in RIT's single bedroom apartments. The drive to campus is less than 5 minutes, so it's very convenient if you have a car. I always recommend the Lodge to RIT students, it is perfect for me! I am so glad I chose it over campus housing.

The Lodge is great, but unfortunately there’s one glaring thing in the way from earning them five stars, even six if that were possible. Everyone there is very nice, very kind, the property is modern, clean, a premium choice for housing in the area. But it’s expensive. That’s not my issue, although that is an issue on its own. My issue is I had a bad roommate experience. This roommate is a pig, dirty, selfish, rude, and overall makes me very uncomfortable. I’ve made it clear to the property management of the issue and why its necessary that I move, but not only was the property unaccommodating, their own policies made it even more difficult to get away from this roommate from hell. It’s not been a good experience at all, and I’m paying a fortune, just to have a bad experience. I get that they are a paying customer and I get that cash is king in the world of business, but I feel screwed over by the property. It’s inferential that living situations would be with other students, and that I would have given consent to live with a non student. My current roommate is not a student, and had I known this prior, I would have chosen not to live with them. Asking if a tenant is comfortable living with a non student is common policy at The Lodge, and frankly common courtesy. It’s also written into their contracts that non students must be able to provide tenants to fill an entire unit. Both of these policies were broken, I’ve made this clear to the property, and as I’ve explained before, it’s their lack of taking accountability or even making any sort of effort to rectify the situation that really bugs me. Buyer beware.

The best Management ever! They are very responsive to everything and most important they are very friendly. Truly speaking I don't have any negative things to say about the management and the maintenance crews! They always clean the roads and sidewalks after the snow and in a place like Rochester, it's really important. I needed to move in early, so the management allowed me to move in early even before starting my lease term. I am not comfortable with a yellow light. When I told them that they changed the whole thing (not just the bulb, the whole platform for that). They always tried to make my living comfortable. I wish I didn't have to move out! Highly recommend this place. Worth every penny!
