The Malt House, New York NY

Since it is a malt house from the name, I expected the beer to be delicious, but in the end, it was a disappointing beer.
If it was just a beer sold at a regular restaurant, I would have just drank it. It’s called Malt House…
A beer with a bland taste like Korean Hofbrau.
The lighting is a bit dim so it feels good to have a drink, but it's a shame we can't.
The servers were so friendly that I actually wanted to eat a lot.
It's a shame I couldn't do that.
In general, it feels like a pub with a lot of tourists.

Highly recommend for Happy Hour, close to WTC. Beers around $6, certain mixed drinks are under $10. Also ordered fries and wings. Wings are very good. Bar was crowded but was able to get seated immediately. Staff was great, nice and checked in on us often.

This was FANTASTIC! I would recommend The Malt House to ANYONE who is going to be in the Downtown area. Everything was top notch and delicious!

Had a great experience at the Malt House! The service was amazing, from the hostess to the server to the food runner. Our party ordered the chicken wings, cheese curds, braised short rib (super soft), and the tavern burger with French fries. The only thing that wasn’t what I expected was the “Diet Coke”. It tasted like Cola. We asked our server and she confirmed it wasn’t coke product that they sold. Other than that, everything was amazing.

Nice place in the financial district. Great variety of beers, delicious food and excellent service from all employees. Especially Fidel. Thank you.

I was ready to love this place with open arms but the bartender totally jipped us. We arrived during hh time Monday 3-6 & he charged us full price. When we told him, he only took of $5. (Vs the HH price is $9+ off). I was going to speak up again, but my date was shy. But so rude.

Next time, I’m getting a table. If there’s a next time.

It's a good size place, and it just gives off a regular bar vibe. Nothing special. The Happy hour food does have flavor, but it wasn't hot. That's the bar vibe.

Been there once at lunchtime and had a solid burger with an attentive female service person and once in the early evening for 2 beers at the bar with a listless bartender.
Burgers and salad taste good, the beers are tasty.

Very nice restaurant/pub in the south of Manhattan. Good food, friendly service. The prices are of course slightly higher given the proximity of the Freedom Tower.

If I could give more stars I would. Wonderful food, drink, atmosphere. Myself, wife and kids loved watching the LFC game here. The tacos were immense!

What a great place until.we ordered 3 flights of margs and only to tell us 10 mins after we got our drinks, we were told the table was reserved and they needed the table. You didn't have a problem taking our money and we spent over $200. You should have told us, hey we have table reserved instead. Mgr didn't care, so dissapointed all the way from Arizona.

We held our Christmas party here for the 2nd year in a row. Great atmosphere and facility. Food was fairly good but small portions, in my opinion.

We had such a great experience celebrating my bffs bday weekend. We found this place on Google while being extremely starved at the time. The food was really good and they have a bottomless cocktail option during brunch. I really like that it’s for cocktails and not only a mimosas. The place is cute and nice but the best part was the customer service! The hostess was so sweet in accommodating us. Iman took great care of us as our server. Literally the reason for the 5star review. It was so refreshing to have someone that was knowledgeable of the menu! She was such a delight and really made sure we had a great brunch experience. Thanks Iman!

The ambience is breathtaking. The staff is super attentive and friendly. For Manhattan the price-performance ratio is TOP.

Went there with my daughter for her birthday.

Had the fried chicken waffle club. The chicken was fresh but didn't have enough seasoning. The waffle was oddly tough. I asked for it without the cheese sauce but it came with cheese sauce anyways. The green salad had nice quality ingredients but had no dressing at all. The onions and peppers with the fried tomatoes were nice.

I m sorry for doing this bad review but I couldn’t keep my self…Let me start by telling you that the menu for a brunch on a Saturday it’s literally 5 plates lol. Let me continue by mentioning that I order a burger that it was not cooked at all and I felt I wanted to throw up…. But that was not the worst part…. PRICES are NOT the SAME on the menu. I order a sangria and on the menu it says 14$ and when we receive the bill it says 18.95$ before tax! My burger on the menu was 24$ and on the bill it says 28.95$! I m gonna report you at the BBB. This is not cool at all. If you have some DIGNITY BE AWARE of this place!
