The Mansion is my new home in Buffalo. This intimate boutique hotel was beyond my expectations. The butlers are amazing and the service was impeccable. Chris and Dan were the butlers that evening and they were so hospitable. I truly felt like a queen. All of the customers staying at the hotel were like family. I highly recommend this wonderful place.

The good. Staff friendly and attentive, welcome drink, free parking, breakfast, location.

The bad rooms need updating, only 2 breakfast choices, beds were tough, felt springs.

Great staff but overpriced. Mishmashed interior design, awkward bathtub/shower, weird breakfast buffet that was mostly lunch dishes, and random people playing pool in the front room.

Excellent service and comfortable stay for an event at the hotel. Thank you to staff for accommodating for my wife and I.

We had a wonderful time. All the staff are amazing, informative and helpful, Tessa, Leah, Danny, Chris, etc. The hotel rooms need some love and upgrades to bring them into the 21st century. We had this weird sliding shower door for our tub that was old and mildewy at the bottom and no fan in the bathroom. Our room had a really odd layout and instead of maximizing the square footage of the room they crammed everything on one side of the room, leaving a huge amount of unused space. There are no fridges in the rooms, no hallway/entry light inside the room and the dresser was super small for the size of the room The food and service are great, love the atmosphere and location. The dining room/lounge and the bar are very nice. There's a pool table in the bar that is not necessary. Takes up space that could be used for additional tables and it's not a good quality table. Elegant yet not too formal. Excellent breakfast and coffee.

Stayed here last minute after a flight got cancelled. Cool place, but we were expecting more based on previous reviews and the price. Cool retro common area with sitting area, small bar, etc. Staff and service were great. Great location. But. Breakfast was good but tiny. Coffee bar was a Keurig. Fitness studio was a small room with some old equipment. Biggest issue was the room-terribly outdated. Old carpet, old beds, old bathroom, old sofa, trim pieces missing, loud HVAC. Large size suite so we had plenty of room was a positive.

The service that you receive at the mansion on Delaware is unmatched. Never have we experienced such attentive and professional care during our stay.

The Mansion has an intimate and cozy vibe. Aesthetically the mansion is full of charm, with beautiful crown molding beautiful fireplaces & furnishings.

The Mansion has its on parking lot at no additional cost; extremely convenient. Also, Within a 3 mile radius the mansion offers chauffeur services, as well as meal pick ups within that same 3 mile radius.

From the moment we walked in the foyer, Tessa put out fires before it began. Our reservation, through a third party, had our party as two adults.

Tessa immediately switched us to the largest suite, to accommodate my four member family.

Cade set up our suite with the extra beddings & toiletry before we retired to our room. One of the nights, after picking up our dinner, Cade set up our meal in a private dining hall & in front of a beautiful fireplace! It was fantastic!

Danny created & mixed the best drinks for me (I am picky). He got us hyped up for our first ever hockey game; schooling us on the team roaster. By the time we were sitting in the stands we actually felt like New Yorkers thanks to Danny’s info and excitement!

Nyisha was extremely professional, accommodating, patient, and warm at breakfast.

Leah is extremely friendly & joyful. She transported us to & from dinner with such an exuberant attitude. She actually made us feel we were doing her a favor by letting her assist us!

I will end as I began: The service we received at The Mansion on Delaware is unmatched. We have never experienced this level of attentiveness & professionalism during any previous stays.

I just got back from a one night stay here, and my goodness do I wish I was staying a week! I truly don't know where to begin with my raving review.

Service - 12/10 best service I have received at any hotel or resort I have ever stay at. The staff was so kind and helpful, and made our stay so comfortable and enjoyable (they were so funny too!).

Value- 12/10 incredible quality. A chauffeur service, complementary drinks, above and beyond service, incredible complementary breakfast.need I say more?

Location - LOVED the spot. Not too close to downtown, but a perfect walk to either downtown or Elmwood Village. Also so conveniently located to the boarder!

I will stay here every time I visit Buffalo in the future. And would 200% recommend The Mansion on Delaware to family and friends.

First let me start off by stating how wonderful the staff are. From check in to check out, everyone we interacted with was fantastic.

That being said, this hotel needs some big time love. Our room was very dated, with wrinkled carpet and broken curtains. No luggage rack, no amenities that you usually see at hotels at this price point. The bathroom was extremely dated.we thought it was dirty at first, but it's just scratched and stained beyond repair. The jetted tub did not fill properly- by the time you got a few inches in, the water was tepid. The tub surround is at least a decade or two old, it's not something you really want to sit in, unfortunately.

The matress situation was what really blew this experience for me. Not only did we have the light / traffic noise from Delaware (broken curtains) but the bed was unbearable. I took my husband here for a date and I spent the night apologizing. We got no sleep at all.

Breakfast was a cold quiche, no dairy free options.

I've had my eye on staying here for years, it's a shame it was this disappointing.

The mansion gets an A+ in my book for Great and attentive service, cleanliness, location, and value. A true diamond in the rough and I say that with all due respect. The mansion is a lovely hotel but lacking in what is most important to truly make it exceptional. Interiors that are as beautifully appointed as the architecture and a o really freshen up.
COVID appears to have slowed down this process for many hotels.
As an interior designer, it’s the decor that is equally as important. The building has all the proper bones and now needs to be put in the hands of a creative talent to transform it.
The furnishings appear to be collected over time from hotels that may have closed and although some have good bones, they need to be recovered and repurposed in a way to make the rooms more inviting. The breakfast room should be designed as an old library and sitting room. Move the breakfast room to the rear paneled library room, replace carpets with hardwood. Add a signature scent and sell it in a small boutique shop that you should set up off the lobby.
Redecorate the checkin as a cozy sitting room with writing desks and check in each guest it’s the first impression you set that’s most important. Think European boutique with lovely desks and move the messiness behind closed doors.
The bar is lovely and just needs some to be freshened up. The lighting is fun but the color temperature is too cool for the space. Stick to 2700k LED lighting to maintain the warmer glow which is more appropriate for the atmosphere your trying to create.
Paint colors should be updated. Red is out. More appropriate lighting fixtures and furnishings would transform the public spaces. The touch of live plants is great but they look neglected.
I was in room 202. Shift the bed into the window area floating in front of the window and create a lovely seating area at the fireplace. Now you have a suite. Shift the tv to the desk wall. The bathroom needs a complete makeover. Room by room the mansion can be transformed and surpass all other chains. I’m available for consultation ;).
