Amazing place! Had a salad, fried cheese balls, lasagna, and a seasonal Moscow mule. The last place I ate on my visit to New York for the New York City Marathon and I wished I had done it before. The food was incredible. And the wait staff, unbelievably attentive and nice. I will always come here when I visit New York. Thank you!

A lovely find while exploring Hell's Kitchen on our 2nd night in NYC. The spags in meatball is heavy, would recommend it for sharing. The tomato soup tastes more like tomato puree, not complaining though cos I like my tomato soup tangy and thick. The buttered bourbon was nice too especially on a cold night

Great drink specials if you sit at the bar for happy hour. Appetizers very reasonable, especially during happy hour.

Super cute place. We went for happy hour before a show. Happy hour is only done at the bar, so make sure you sit at the bar or let the hostess know when you get there. They have great drink and food deals for happy hour. The bar tender was very nice and attentive. Definitely will make my way back here when I'm in the area.

Service was great and food came out fast. Not a typical Italian style meatball, which was fine, but they weren’t super seasoned. Still good, but not the best I’ve had. The cauliflower tasted good though!

Always a pleasure to dine here when I visit NYC. This evening we had the spaghetti IN meatballs. Crazy idea but even better flavors all around. Highly recommend!

Visited the Meatball Shop while on a food walking tour. The buffalo chicken meatball was inventive and quite good, and I enjoyed the decorations and atmosphere inside. Cool spot.

I ate rigattoni with shrimp and it was delicious. The only complaint was that there was 5 or 6 shrimps in the dish.
My wife ate spagetti in meatballs and it was excellent.
Prices maybe a bit steep, but non the less worth it

I love me a well charred chicken Parmigiano resting seasonly on a hefty amount of saucy spaghetti served by a friendly face.

We were the last ones out of the restaurant. The space is nicely lit, and welcoming to any night shots (idk on an iPhone is different, team Android). The waiter not once attempted to rush us out even though we were apologetic for overstaying our dindin welcome. We closed out the night with free jello shots and a sly "you ain't gotta go but you can't stay here" friendly face from our waiter.

My girlfriend and I found the shop as a recommendation on websites and after a long day of sightseeing, my girlfriend and I went here for dinner.
For us it was a complete success.
The atmosphere is relaxed and informal.
Our waiter (Hunter) was absolutely nice, relaxed and very attentive.
The food was fantastic. We had the “classic meatballs” and the “chicken parm with spaghetti”.

Definitely stick to the meatballs. Chicken is a bit smelly. The real issue though is that host. We came in with an admittedly large group to a basically empty restaurant and were told we have to make a reservation for parties larger than 4. When my friend pointed out the two HUGE EMPTY TABLES that could fit us easily, it was as though we were asking to do coke on them.at 90 minutes to close if you don’t accept a party? When your restaurant is empty? And you don’t have any other reservations? Either bad management or they just don’t like money

When I make meatballs, I make juicy meatballs that hold together, but fall apart in your mouth. The Meatball Shop has hard, dry meatballs.

I like EVOO, fresh tomatoes, fresh basil and a little wine in my sauce. So, I wasn't crazy about their sauce which is nothing special.

The restaurant was recommended to me. I won't be back.

An excellent fast meal. Choose a dish or put your own together. I had the spicy meatballs with rigatoni. It was sublime!

What's not to love about a restaurant devoted to tasty meatballs? !

The staff is attentive, prices are relatively fair, and every dish we've tried has exceeded expectations.

We usually opt for the Balls + Sauce!

We had the pesto meatball. The pesto flavor was good but it could have used more garlic and it was a tad too salty. The service was great. The staff were really friendly and accommodating even as they were about to close.

Friendly staff and good bar-top happy hour. Cheap drinks, you might leave hungry though haha. Portions on the smaller side but hey for $8 at happy hour I guess it makes sense.
