The Mud Club - Woodstock reviews
14What a fantastic place for a coffee, pastry and plenty of atmosphere. The rambling garden has several fire pits and a whimsical porch overhung with branches and a variety of chandeliers. Best of all is the music with the eclectic selections that help pull the whole vibe together.
We waited in pouring rain to get one fresh croissant and one stale one. Would not recommend.
Great ambiance and cute place to sit but their prices are unconscionable. 2 coffees and 2 bagels (they are tiny bagels at that) came out to $46 dollars. In WHAT WORLD is that ok to charge for that amount of food?
I honestly will probably never go back here - at least for food. Insane.
When people say that NY pizza is better than Italian, I always thought it was a joke, well not anymore, after having the best wood fired pizza in this most scenic place! 15/10 will come back
The bagels are definitely good, but jesus f christ the prices are so exorbitantly offensive. 15 bucks for a bacon egg and cheese. 1.50 for oat milk in your coffee. This place is your most toxic relationship, you just keep going back for more and feel so terrible after asking for oat milk in your coffee. This place needs a spite shop OR: I love when hippy wellness meets post capitalism and or the excuse of inflation – the bagel shop Woodstock deserves. I guess it could be argued you're paying extra for the rocks to sit on, the hornets nest under the stairs, the lazy smiles and laughter that floats from the kitchen after you place your order.
It took them an eternity to serve us pizza. Me and my friends had to wait 45 minutes for one.
Very uniquely designed outdoor place to relax and enjoy the atmosphere, the creativity all over the place. Different seating areas that are just fun- on swings, at a bar under trees, in a yard. We enjoyed it a lot.
4 stars for the overpriced drinks and pizza.
$65 for 3 cocktails and a water, $25 for a small pizza. But very tasty.
This place has the best vibe and great energy. After our first visit we just had to go back. Great drinks and excellent service
Poor service. I ordered an ice coffee and it never came. Then one of the owners got defensive about this…very frustrating. Then wouldn’t bother to turn on the latte machine to make me a new one. Also $10 for a latte is ridiculous.
We stopped by the Mud Club for bagels, croissants and coffee and had a great time. We really liked the vibe of the place, the service was efficient, and the food was excellent. The pistachio croissant was delicious, the lox and shout bagel was quite good, as was Tinker Tuesday. The latte was very smooth but still offered an energetic boost of caffeine.
Overall, we really liked the place and look forward to returning soon.
I stopped here early in the day during the winter offseason, I was blown away by the venue. Even though the entire facility was not up and running, I could tell that this is a special spot.
I had a coffee beverage and a pastry snack which were both delicious and exactly what I needed to warm up near one of the outdoor firepits.
Will be returning again in better weather so see this place in full swing!
Pretty cool place set back from the Main Street. Very eclectic place to enjoy a quick bite or drink - multiple places inside and out to sit.
I was just charged $32 for one bacon egg and cheese bagel and two coffees. To add insult to injury, they forgot the bacon (which was a $7 up charge). The person taking my order couldn’t have been more disinterested in helping me. This was the most mediocre, expired gas station quality bagel I’ve ever had. You’d be better off just setting your money on fire than eating here.
The bagel sandwich I had was delicious, but it was not worth FIFTEEN dollars for a counter-service place where they didn’t even bother to wipe the rainwater off the tables and chairs so people could sit down (it had rained previously, but stopped long before I got there). Every other place in the area charges a reasonable price for their breakfast options, inflation and all. Not understanding the price-gouging.
Everybody else’s stuff is ALSO farm to table so you’re really not standing out here if that’s the reasoning.
The coffee was disappointing. It tasted like stale beans were used to brew it.
