This is a cute museum and it's free! The food and fashion show was right up my alley and FUN! I like how they not only included clothes inspired by food, but clothing and accessories made fun food and food waste. Very interesting.

The show was well curated and the descriptions were informative. I loved the banquet dress, the egg and bacon sneakers. I wish I could get some of the delicious fabrics to make my own outfits!

"Food and Fashion" is the special exhibit here right now November 2023. Small museum on two floors. One of the floors was completely roped off so that was disappointing. Still, a decent museum about fashion. Takes about 30 - 45 minutes to see everything. It is free so that is a plus.

Free. Just walk in. There’s a separate area for featured exhibit and another hallway for student thesis exhibit. Great for fashion lovers and art lovers. No flash photography and don’t touch anything that’s not allowed. Defs no no on touching featured fashion as we all know. Some books in the student thesis area are allowed to be to be touched and read but there’s a lot of security to ask if you are unsure. QR codes are available if we are interested in the fashion brand and headphone guides available.

We were only able to see a very small sample of an exhibition. The rest we don't know why it was closed to the public.

It's a tradition of mine to visit the F. I. T. Museum as a reward for a job well-done after I sit a WSET Diploma exam at the International Wine Center. Yesterday I was thrilled to experience their latest exhibit Food & Fashion. I felt that it was created just for me, and I even learned about a new vegan leather which is made from grapes!

Came here on a rainy Friday when we were walking around the area during our vacation. It's free to visit so a great option to visit, if a bit short.

The exhibition on food and fashion is really interesting with a great collection of pieces and examples.

Wish they had a coat check or similar, if you come in with a backpack they ask you to hold it in your hand which is not terribly comfortable.

It was nice except two things. One exhibit was closed and wasn't noted on the website and downstairs there were 2 security guards talking alot

Great small museum at one of the premier fashion schools in the world with always interesting exhibitions such as "Dior + Balenciaga: The Kings of Couture and Their Legacies" and "Shoes: Anatomy Identity Magic". The current "Food & Fashion" exhibition is great fun. The entrance is free.

If you are a designer or you love design and you are just passing through, I highly recommend an out-of-the-box knowledge plan as a tourist, admission is completely free, you can take brochures to understand in detail the exhibition of the moment

Small and pretty but above all interesting.

It has the great advantage of being free, something not very common in interesting museums in New York.

It is a little hidden because it is not the same building as the school, you have to cross the street.

I recommend it if you have already visited the city's must-see museums and if you like history.

A really interesting exhibition- a juxtaposition of food and fashion. So many interesting angles covered reaching back through time and across the globe. And a nice length to view too. Well worth seeing.

The museum is a nice place to spend some time. I love the fashion and the creativity, and the history behind the exhibits is so interesting.

Extremely rude security staff who yelled at me within one second of arriving for having water instead of nicely asking to pour it out before coming inside. Very small exhibits but still cool
