The Original Rachel's Mediterranean, Williamsville NY

I Love Rachel’s but this was my first time at the Original Rachel’s and I can’t believe it but it was even more delicious. The food is incredible and the family that runs the place is a great kind hard working family. In fact THE Rachel even let us take a photo with her! Super great place. If you love Rachel’s you have to go to the original Rachel’s at least once!

The Original Rachel's on Main Street in Williamsville is the best! I will never go back to any of the franchised locations. The original location has the best tasting and freshest food. I have never had an issue at the original location as I have at the franchise locations. After reading some of the negative reviews, I think the reviewer was not here but at a franchise. I have experienced nothing but positiveness at the the original location. Rachel is the best and super friendly. She remembers her regulars and their orders. I love it there and love the food and service. Highly recommend this location.

This was a great lunch experience. The whole point of going out to lunch is to be comfortable in this is a comfortable place. The staff was also nice knowledgeable about the food the products and the prices were great.

We drove to the original Rachel's around 6 pm during the week. We live closer to the location at William and transit, but they don't have one of our desired foods on their menu (rice pudding). My wife walked in and placed the order. The bar was pretty low.we order take out several times a week from various OTHER places and its not at all unusual that they screw the order up. They were not overly busy and completed our order extremely quickly. Food was delicious. Only item to mention - $35 for the food is extraordinarily high for a salad with chicken, a wrap and a rice pudding.

The original and you know why the chain developed after experiencing that carefully prepared Greek food, a healthy choice

Everything was great. This location is more low key. My only complaint is that the lights were so bright I wanted to die but that's a personal problem. Food was super good, fresh and well cooked. Good portions, flavorful. My chicken soulvaki dinner lasted me three meals so yeah. Worth it!

However, I have a complaint. Why did it take 3 weeks for my gift cards to be sent to me when my Visa showed your deduction of purchase the day that I called? I called on November 7 and received the gift cards via mail on November 19? Were they delivered by Bison? I had to call your restaurant several times to inquire about the status of this transaction.
I'm sorry, but I live in Savannah, GA, therefore have no access to your restaurant other than telephoning for purchases. My daughter's family will be pleased with this gift.

I order online all the time. Here's the thing.the food is FANTASTIC and it's fresh but you will wait for it if you don't take the preparation time seriously. If it tells you your order will be ready around 12: 15, they aren't joking. They get a million orders because of how delicious thier food is so don't show up to pick up your order early.this isn't the place. Quality takes time. Now with that being said, I get the chicken bowl and it is AMAZING, every single time. The portions are usually good enough for 2 meals (at least for me). Side note.the deli case is where the magic happens. Anything in it.buy. Tabouli, hummus, rice pudding. BUY IT, give it as gifts or horde it for yourself, you will not regret it. Remember be kind and order online

More menu options than the satellite stores basic salads. Can't wait to go back and try chicken sub.

Horrible experience. I asked for chicken and rice bowl well done chicken. When I got it the chicken was not well done. But undercooked. I asked for the money back $ I payed 20 cash. Rachel refused and gave me nasty attitude.when I said ok remake the food then. They didn't was exactly the same. So they kept my good and my money. She asked me to leave. Will never go there again or recommend! She shouldn't be in charge or dealing with customers.awful service!

My husband and I stopped here for a quick dinner. We love mediterranean/middle eastern food. We both got falafel. The servings were very small and skimpy. There were hardly any toppings on the falafel. The tzatziki sauce was tasteless white water. It is supposed to be flavorful and thick. The bathroom and dining room was filthy. The dining room floor was sticky. The tables were dirty and there was a used mask on the floor. The prices were high for the amount of food you get. Very disappointed.

We have a different concept of a good meal; open chicken souvlaki consisted of a fair amount of lettuce, bits of onion and cuke, two olives, 3 Walmart chicken tenders (nothing like chewy chicken), and 1/2 a pita. $14 really? Won't be going back.

Food taste great, but I ordered a chicken rice bowl and got no chicken in it when I got home to eat it. Wish i would of checked it before I left the restaurant

This Rachels is a great location - we went here for lunch the other day and there was no line. I ordered the chicken schwarma wrap (delicious) and it was out within 10 minutes. The only issue I had was that if it was busier, parking would be somewhat limited due to the small spot in the back.

Do not go to the new rachel locations!

These new Rachel "chipotle" style stores that are everywhere do not do justice to how good their food truly is! At this original location food is always fresh! (unlike the new ones that have food sitting there all day.btw I don't think this location has any control over the ones we've seen popping up everywhere)

There's a reason youre seeing the surge of Rachel restaurants everywhere and it's because of this spot right here! If you truly want the Rachel's Mediterranean experience you have to try the original location. Friendly staff and the food is always delicious. I cannot recommend the Original Rachel's enough!

I had an amazing experience with Rachel's catering my bridal shower. I tested positive for COVID the day before my original order, called and explained the situation, and they were incredibly understanding. They allowed me to switch everything over to be picked up on a later Sunday, when they're not even normally open! I'm SO grateful to how they handled what felt like a worst-case scenario for me, and everyone I talked to was so kind. When the rescheduled date came, we had zero issues with pick-up. The food was MORE than enough for all my guests, and everything was delicious. Thank you, thank you everyone who made my day possible!

Well I have always had a good meal there and would wait give it 5 start but today I was really disappointed. So today it was just ok

Ordered 2 subs but didn’t realize until after I was home and they had closed that was given completely different items some kind of celery dill chicken wrap. I called and left them a voicemail asking they call me back to figure out a resolution the following day and never heard back from them. I’ve been going to this restaurant for 15 years going back to when I would walk across the street from south to eat there in between classes and practices. Very disappointed in the lack of customer service in this situation.

I didn't like it to much it wasn't what I expected it I guess every rachels is different. The meal I got was like something u make your kids it said swarma with potatoes it was literally chicken with chopped up French fries huh I didn't like that there was no veggies I wanted spinach but none the less I'll stick to the rachels I go to that's downtown there delicious.
