The Palm JFK Airport reviews
18Food was very good, and Chef Chris Bianco was super accommodating with my wife's food allergy (Celiacs). Chef Bianco was very helpful and informative, and just a great guy. Really enjoyed it.
0 stars! The WORST customer service! Karla the bartender was so rude and unprofessional.the food is over price and came cold.
If you're at the airport and want some good food this is the place to go. Staff were very friendly as well.
I saw less than three stars and was worried but was limited on time so I ran in. Great service very fast and my food was dynamite! Not a huge selection of items but my strip steak was delicious! Super juicy and not over cooked and the asparagus had a nice garlic hint on it. Nice wine selection and honestly it did not take very long to get
My food. Pricey but no airport food is what it costs nowadays so I figured I would get something good before the long flight. I didn’t have a bad experience whatsoever so I’m giving 5 stars even though it seems maybe others have? I was pleased though!
Very expensive for a start, fries were almost cold when they came out. The chicken burger ($26) was also barely warm so had clearly been cooked earlier and reheated. Mentioned the fries to the bar tender but still charged me the full price. Spoke to the manager after but made little progress.go for Shake Shack instead.
The chicken ‘avocado’ sandwich was dry and chewy. One measly avocado. Service was sporadic and the price wasn’t worth it.
If I could give less than one star I would.
The WORST customer service I have ever got, plus disgusting food over price please make yourself a favor and go to a different place.
Tried to hide soggy lettuce in my sandwich. The server offered grilled asparagus, but it was both dry and raw: like they just put it in the oven for 5 minutes.
The server didn't look surprised, so I just walked out.
Extremely rude and in accommodating staff. They don’t even serve breakfast after 10: 30…. What kind of a cut off time is that. To top it off the even need a break before serving lunch. How hard is it to make eggs and cheeseburgers…. Pathetic.
Slow. Way too slow. Not only they are slow but the waitress doesn’t value the time of customers at all. Been sitting at the bar for ten minutes and there was only one bartender taking care all these people. And this lady happily went around slowly like she’s enjoying her afternoon walk. I don’t understand what’s to be so happy about keeping people waiting. Terrible terrible. Expect at least 45min to get your food (not to finish) if you’re eating here.
Worst salad I’ve ever had. The hard boiled eggs had brown yolks, the avocados were brown, the lettuce was wilted, the chicken was incredibly dry and burned and the salad had very little flavor. Only thing good about this place was that our server was nice. He brought me a new piece of chicken when he saw I took it off. But even the new piece was just as dry. It’s like they pre make the chicken on Mondays and use it through the week.
$24 for an extremely basic breakfast, slightly worse than a middle of the road diner. The staff were very nice though. I know it's hard to find good food in jfk, but don't come here unless your company is paying or you're so rich money has lost all meaning
Had the not so pleasure of dining here on the 20th April and will not be returning if we ever pass through JFK Airport again in the future. The food was priced extortionately for the quality that was received. The beers were priced at approx 13 dollars for one pint which was served with 3/4 of the glass full. Absolute ridiculous. 17% tip was thoroughly not deserved. Dampner to the end of a break away.
The prices were ridiculous for the basic subpar food. The server was great but they were definitely understaffed. Unfortunately this was the best place to eat in this terminal at this time. Which is not saying much. If you can, go to a different terminal or just eat somewhere else before you go to the airport. Do not recommend.
I was traveling through for work so I don't normally check the prices so I was shocked to have spend $55 for a mediocre cheese steak, fries and two beer. I am very disappointed. The second most expensive dinner on my trip was $37 for similar quality (ORF airport restaurant).
Nice place to sit down for breakfast while waiting for the plane. It is quite pricey, honestly while we were eating we saw 4 different groups sit down, look at the menu and then get up and leave. I think the restaurant would benefit from posting a menu at the door so people could decide before coming in if they truly want to eat here or not. Over all food was good, orange juice tasted freshly squeezed.
Just tried to sit at the bar (where there were at least 5 open seats) and the bartender told me he was too overwhelmed and couldn’t serve me. Told me there are other places to get food and I should go there instead.
If I was served this in a Palms in the city, I’d give
Them a 1 star, but here I am in an airport eating a unseasoned steak, but it’s cooked perfectly. My wife got a salad, she’s enjoying it. If you want a great steak, don’t go to airport, so this isn’t bad.
