The Parlor, Dobbs Ferry NY

We had the Vegan Valentine's Menu this evening. This very expensive meal was not good. Couldn't even stomach the desserts. Imagine an oversized Quorn patty for the vegan fried chicken, cooked mushrooms in ketchup barbecue sauce on top of a dense biscuit, and for dessert an old banana cooked in a pizza oven smothered with some sickly sweet white cream substance topped with some peanuts. They have no business offering vegan fare.

Really good pizza. The chocolate dessert had 3x the sugar it should. Caesar salad was good, but so overpriced.

Worst customer service ever, hostess is a condescending little brat, their online reservation system is broken but somehow others are able to make reservations.

Used to be a big fan of both this place and their parent restaurant but I will never ever under any circumstances walking to either one of them ever again after the way I was treated there tonight!

My husband found the Parlor when searching for food nearby St. John's Hospital. We were all very pleasantly surprised. From the incredibly friendly staff to the delicious food, it was a great treat and we can't wait to go back. We ordered Brussel sprouts, burgers for he and I and The Bianca for our son.

We plan to go back soon!

Had late dinner with friends, everything was delicious. We had the Margherita pizza and the vodka pizza both delicious.

Tasty variety of soft pizzas that you cut with scissors. Bit pricey. Nice ambiance and energy.

We really used to love The Parlor until this evening when one of our items was missing from our delivery and manager Dan was really not helpful. Dan said that our only option to get our missing cheeseburger was to come pick it up. Then what’s the point of getting delivery? ! He was not accommodating and unapologetic. Will never order from here again!

Used to be a favorite spot of ours but the last couple of times we've been have not been great. The pizza no longer has any crisp to it, just doughy more like a warm pita than Neapolitan. Service is very slow and hard to get waiters attention when they are not even busy. I suspect they've changed hands.

Food is good enough but the QR code for ordering/paying is awful. Not conducive to a great dining experience. No one wants to be fumbling around their cell phone trying to order and pay. Terrible policy

Bad, burnt pizza, left charcoal stains on my fingers. I'm pretty sure they only have one recipe for alcoholic drinks. Potato wedges were hard, thought I chipped a tooth. Left dissatisfied with an $80 bill.

They "lost" our reservation and was given a 30 min wait. We found our confirmation reservation and showed them, turns out they gave our table to another group! They apologized, but that was it. The drinks were mediocre, not bad not great. The food had different ingredients i.e bone marrow, but I didnt find it delicious, it was okay. Its a bit pricey for the quality and taste. 2 of the 4 people in my group agreed with me, the other two will go back.

The Eggplant pizza was one of the most disappointing and misleading things I have ever experienced (there is no eggplant, not even in the sauce, and they put some dried spices on it that made it taste spicy and cheap. Like 7/11 pizza would be better tasting). Do not recommend.

The Margarita, however, was phenomenal and something I'd come back for. Hands down best pizza in Dobbs Ferry. The painfully slow service, however, made this a one time experience I think.

Great pizza, nice waiters. I even saw a cute chipmunk there, it just sat on the curb staring deep into my empty void of a soul until I started to break. Anyway 10/10 good pizza.

Been to the parlor a few times for the past 3 years and it has never disappointed. The pizza is so delicious. Try the everything bagel pizza it is worth it. We’ve had the Brussels sprouts and the pocket parlor and both are tasty. We’ve ordered delivery and have eaten inside, and the food is consistent. Highly highly recommend this place.

David, please bring back fried chicken and oven roasted trout. People who do not eat bread no longer have any proteen options. The Parlor has been part of out weekly rotation since you opened years ago. But we no longer can eat with you. It's very dissaponting, Hope to be back soon!

My pizza was interesting, my friends Caesar salad and pizza were good - but overall, it didn't seem like they really wanted our business.

We arrived at ~5: 30pm on a Sunday and there was only 1 family seated outdoors and at least 7 empty tables. Despite this, they seemed reluctant to let us sit outside since "they had reservations" but eventually let us sit. It was sunny and hot out and after about 5 minutes the 1 family that had been sitting outside left and so after they cleared that table we asked if we could shift to that table which was more shaded. Again, they seemed reluctant to let us shift because "they were booked with reservations" - I was puzzled by this and said "well, can't the people who come take one of the other 8 tables? " and they did let us shift. [Note during the entire ~1 hour that we sat outside, there a total of 2 other couples arrived - leaving at least 5 empty tables. ]

The food was delivered promptly and my "lemonata" pizza was definitely interesting - flavorful and the dough was good. My friends got the Caesar salad which was good but too salty - the highlight was these delicious "tater tot" croutons - they asked for a few extra croutons and were initially told that they'd need to be charged for a side order of tater tots - which seemed ridiculous but they reluctantly agreed. Fortunately, when the waiter brought a handful of croutons he said "I was able to get them for you for free". My friends also had "the balls" pizza which was average - nothing special.

We checked out, gave our credit cards (a bit surprised by a 3% "kitchen share" that had not previously been disclosed), added our tips, signed our slips and left the signed copies on the table. Later that evening I received a call saying that "you left the restaurant without closing out your check, did you want to leave a tip? ". Sigh.

Finally checked out The Parlor, having heard many good things. Tried the Pear speciality pizza, a few drinks and a cappuccino. Everything was delicious, the atmosphere is wonderful and it stays open later than most other options on the street.highly recommend.

Cappuccino was shockingly good for a pizza spot, and they can make an actual mixed drink, which is surprisingly hard to find in the area.

I wish I could give this place 6 stars I’m not kidding you it is THE best pizza I’ve ever had. This time I also ordered the brussel sprouts salad and omg! My favorite pizza is The Lemonator and the burger is pretty nice too. The ingredients they use are undoubtedly of the highest quality and so is the service. The staff is attentive, kind and knowledgeable. Go go go now!

Came here with a group of friends one OMG DELICIOUS. We family sized everything. I would say it would be better to get an order to yourself because the portions are a little small but the vibes were amazing and the waiter was amazing giving really good suggestions. The mushroom pizza went CRAZY and the eggplant cutlet was so good. It’s a little bit pricey but the food is high end and plated beautifully. If you are thinking of coming do it!

Good food easy atmosphere. Service needs a lil help we had reservations for 8: 30 and arrived a couple minutes early. They told us our table was taken and placed us at a high table. Don't mind I just didn't need to know our table was given to another party. While waiting for menus other tables were seated after us, got water and menus before us. So they forget about us. Once they finally noticed it was good.

Good food and worth a try
