The Sablewood at Highview Springs, Schoharie NY

The venue is STUNNING. There are multiple spaces/options for the ceremony and cocktail hour both inside and outside. The property is so well maintained and landscaped that we really didn't have to do all that much outside to make the space fit our vision. Lisa and her team are AMAZING to work with, Lisa knows what she's doing and you can trust her completely to get every detail of your day right. All of the recommended vendors we used from their list were amazing to work with and highly professional.
The Sablewood has a bridal suite and groomsman suite on site so getting ready was a breeze.
Everything about our day went off without a hitch, it was as close to perfect as you can possibly imagine on your wedding day. The staff made sure all of the details were organized and taken care of, set up and breakdown were quick and efficient. I would highly recommend this venue to anyone!

We had our DREAM wedding at the Sablewood in October and we have nothing but love for the venue and Lisa and her team. The Sablewood goes above and beyond when it comes to creating a personal and intimate experience - the fact that a property that large only has one wedding per day says so much! They have a beautiful bridal suite and groom's suite for getting ready and let's not get started about how gorgeous our pictures turned out (inside and outside the venue) - there are SO MANY beautiful photo ops around the property. Rain or shine, the ceremony options are breathtaking and differ from the reception area. We toured dozens of wedding venues that felt more like wedding factories before finding the Sablewood and immediately booked after our tour. If we were to repeat our wedding again, The Sablewood would 100% still be the venue for us!

This Venue has the most gorgeous views, flowers and modern barns! Our guests also loved the layout of the venue and told us how breathtaking it was! Gorgeous venue! Went for a November wedding. Both buildings were so pretty - the one we had the ceremony in, and the one where we had the reception. Beautiful land around there too, and all the catering staff/ bartenders were wonderful! Highly recommend this place!

My husband & I were going to cancel our tour at this venue... I am SO glad we didn't. As soon as we walked around, we both fell in love with it as a venue and thus hosted our wedding here! The bridal suite is just luxurious & bright! Lisa was so easy to work with. Her response time was usually within 24 hours... Her whole team on our wedding day was constantly running around to ensure everyone was satisfied. I really can't say enough positive things about Lisa and her team. Our guests were so happy with the atmosphere & our choice in it as a venue. I wish I could do it all over again because it's so pretty!

If you are one of the people who likes the countryside and nature, this should be the place to hold your social event.

The Sablewood is a stunning venue for a wedding or other formal event. It’s SO vendor friendly and surpasses many others in that regard. Lisa was extremely helpful and really cares about her business. The grounds and facilities are picturesque and nicely spread out. The service was excellent. I would recommend this venue in upstate NY for any wedding that wants a unique and special day.

When we toured The Sablewood we knew it was the perfect venue for our wedding, we could not see any others after that day! The Sablewood is a literal dream. If you’re looking for that barn/country side wedding with all the charm of rustic and romantic but all the modern necessities The Sablewood is for you. Could not have asked for a better wedding venue. The best decision I made. Lisa and the whole Sablewood team have weddings down to a science. The Sablewood has everything you need. Beautiful fields, water features, and gardens for endless photo opportunities. Multiple locations to choose where to have your wedding ceremony with the option to get married inside in the Charlington barn in case the weather doesn’t cooperate. The dinning area is stunning on its own with beautiful farm tables and gorgeous chandelier. Its a venue that looks beautiful on its own, you decorate as little or as much as you would like. The suites for the bride and groom to get ready in have everything you and your vendors could need and help make the day run smoothly and stay on track. Lisa has such an excellent relationship with top vendors in the area that all love coming to the Sablewood. Her sister Holly is a huge help on the day of the wedding with driving you around the property to get the most beautiful pictures. I cannot say enough good things about The Sablewood.

If we can recommend anything to anyone, it would be to save a bit more money and use it on a great venue to accommodate your wedding. For us, that was the Sablewood. Lisa is the most accommodating and caring person you will ever meet. She maintains the venue meticulously and the attention to detail that has been built into the barns is breathtaking. The property has multiple spaces that can be used for your event and the Sablewood team are amazing for all of the behind-the-scenes setup, cleanup, and breakdown of all of your decorations and seating. Lisa and her family and team are very helpful with accommodating the bride and groom to make sure the timeline goes as planned without an issue. Lisa also works through the event alongside your vendor to make sure everything can go as flawless as possible. This venue is by far the most beautiful rustic and elegant barn in the upstate area. You have to see it in person to really appreciate how beautiful your event will be when you have it here. We can not recommend the Sablewood, Lisa, her family, and the Sablewood team enough. If you’re ever thinking about booking, do it because it books very fast.

Went to a wedding for my cousin. It was a very pretty venue. Food was delicious and it was a very cozy venue.

We had an incredible experience hosting my daughter and son-in-law’s wedding at the Sablewood. Lisa was incredible, helping with every aspect of planning and providing useful advice. We did not use a wedding planner and day of she made sure that everything ran smoothly and every detail was attended to. The staff was wonderful, and the venue could not be more beautiful. Hosting our event at the Sablewood was the perfect decision, and made our special day even more so. Our guests all commented on the choice of such a perfect venue.
