In addition to low quality construction (taping/spackling was horrible, windows not closing, damaged molding, floor panels separating, etc.), they actually forgot to put a second HVAC zone in the lower level, as per the contract. Instead they installed a cheap, split unit which was inadequate to heat the space and more costly to operate. Now they're offering people a whopping $2500 to sign a liability waiver.
The Engel Burman Group is not providing a quality product, even though the residents are paying a premium price.

Housing made by the LOWEST bidder. Many companies cutting corners and refusing to pay employees! Wouldn't trust the buildings to be built correctly after the way they treated the workers.
