Been a customer for many years. Very good service and competitive prices. This last project was very challenging, but they stuck with it and made it right even if it costs them $$. The technicians who came to take measures and/or install were all great, but a special shout-out to Andrei, Naz and Angelo who went above and beyond.

We had such a great experience with our purchase here. Roman was very pleasant and knowledgeable. He really helped guide us through every outcome scenario with the options we picked. Jermaine our installer was amazing as well!

Our experience with the Shade Store was seamless and incredibly professional. Maryse was an excellent sales representative. She was informative and helpful from the start, she made the entire process from measurements, shade material selection, installation coordination and follow up pleasurable and efficient. Both our in home measurement appointment and installation with Oscar was excellent. For quality, professionalism, selection and quality we would highly recommend the Shade Store.

The Shade Store located at 77 Wooster Street in the middle of fashionable SoHo, and nyu territory.

The store is west of the major shopping area of Broadway, there you will find the likes of Nike, Levi's, Bloomingdale's and several Starbucks locations. The store is quite big and spacious with huge windows that let in plenty of sunlight.

The one thing the store lacks is music. You can hear a pin drop most of the time.

Btw and fyi, their price for the Cascade shade is coming in cheaper than Home Depot by a half.im just saying, and besides, the service is better here also.

Ruben was so helpful in walking me through all of my options for a complicated blinds decision. He was very patient and well informed.

The measurements were done quickly as was the installation. I would highly recommend!

Great product & customer service! I had to adjust the black out shade I ordered from the Shade Store a few years ago and while the entire team was very considerate and helpful throughout the process (from measuring the windows to re-installing the shade), Lauren was absolutely amazing! As an interior designer, I have found The Shade Store to be an excellent resource for great looking, well priced, high quality, custom window treatments. They have really quick lead times which is a huge advantage, and their teams are friendly, knowledgeable and a pleasure to work with. Always very happy with the results.

Agree with some of the comments here. Staff has no answer and is not trained for any customer service when something’s wrong. Measurement and installation had to be scheduled three times over the past few months and we still have 3 windows out of 5 without shades. Mistakes can happen but the lack of customer satisfaction processes is unacceptable for a premium service.

For the price I paid for a set of roller blinds, the ends are fraying yet again (they fixed it by jamming a piece of paper to even out the shade.) & they never returned any phone calls for new installations in my apartment & repairs. Guess they're too busy and have enough business! Going elsewhere. “Big mistake. Huge! ”

I couldn't be happier with the shade store! From the online consultation, measurement and immediate samples being sent to the ease of decisioning and matching to my aesthetic. Then the actual installation was painless.the technician arrived only to find that my windows were so large and difficult to mount.but not a problem! The technical called for backup and within 20 minutes another technican arrived to install everything.within 15 minutes I had fully installed blinds.it was amazing.they packed up every box, wrapping and old window furnishings and took away leaving me with the most gorgeous new blinds! Thank you shade store!

The staff here is rude and condescending — even by New York standards. From the moment you walk in, the place is empty and they all just stare at you. The salesman I dealt with (an older man) was just unnecessarily nasty. Questions are treated with a dismissive attitude, so if you don’t come in here knowing the ins and outs of draperies be prepared to get disrespected. Took my business elsewhere, wasn’t interested in rewarding that type of behavior.
