The Slipper Room, New York NY

The show was amazing, the performers were super talented and the bartender was great. However the venue is so small that you can't see much unless you are in the front row. We got there an hour before the show yet were not able to get to a spot that has a good view of the stage.

Went for the Sunday show, It was definitely a variety show more than a peer burlesque show which was super fun.

The acts were surprising and engaging and overall really fun. Table service was a nice surprise, and the table service was really excellent.

I will say if you plan to visit here check yourself on etiquette at a burlesque show, what he wants to hear you talk, We want to see a performance hear from the host and have a good time. Too many people in the crowd took it upon themselves to add commentary very loudly, if you were the type of person that wants to come to the space and do that I strongly encourage you not to. This is no fault of the staff, or the venue, I just feel that this type of public service announcement is worthwhile to put out there.

Great show for the price! The host was so entertaining and charismatic. Loved the vibe, a little draggy, a little circusy, a little bit of everything!

Words can't convey the artistry you will experience at the Slipper Room. Expect some of the highest class cerebral pieces of performance art and performances that can only be classified as, uh, other.

Amazing show! Totally recommend. Wilfredo was hilarious. I had better drinks but either way a great evening!

Going to the slipper room was a dream come true. The performances were amazing and I felt so at home in this cute theatre! I love how it’s two stories too! I’ll be here again to watch and hopefully perform one day!

Absolutely fabulous in so many ways.

Awesome place for late night quackery, the weird, the silly, and the sexy. There's a cover at the door but the show is very well worth it. Bring cash to tip (ball it up and throw it on stage) the performers.

This is ridiculous $25 to get in, poor view and comedy is toilet humour. Please save your money and go somewhere else.

An absolute hoot of a time, and I’ve been here every time I visit New York! Make sure to tip your dancers because they’re in there doing an incredible job!

MUST GO! Honestly didn’t know what to expect but had such a fun time! All the performers brought their own uniqueness to the stage and the servers were on top of their orders. Do I wish it was bigger and had a better view from the balcony? Yes but it did not stop us from having a good time. Get there early if you want a seat!

This was my 1st ever trip to a burlesque room I absolutely had an amazing evening with my friends. Can't wait to come back and bring my wife.

Great experience for a James Bay performance. Beautiful, intimate venue with great acoustics and friendly bartenders. Can't wait to visit again for another show!
