Let me just say I have not been to the dentist in 4 years because my last experience at the dentist was traumatic for me. But this is place is the best, everyone was very professional and nice. I would definitely recommend going here.

Extremely friendly staff. Loved the hygienist. Dentist was very nice and explained everything well to me. The office procedure was easy to follow and it was very clean! For a person with extreme anxiety and fear of the dentist, this place was a pleasure and I look forward to continuing to come here.

I was very pleased by the staff. Ashley the dental assistant was great. Dr. Connor was great.and the office manager was stern, but professional.
I have to wait for my approval, from Medicaid, before they can do a root canal.
But, the office was clean, and well run.
So. I am recommending, them, at this location, to anyone.

This is a place I would recommend for all families to go to. Dr Cekada and his staff are thorough and professional. Wonderful service and the children love it too. The place is immaculate and appointments are on time. They do put a SMILE on everyone's face

My first visit to The Smilist Dental in Amitville was very pleasant.
From the staff who first greet you at the desk, to the dental hygienist who is so very professional and the dentist who really seems to care-all these folks make your experience exceptionally positive.

"Everyone" was completely polite and professional. - No reason to expect your experience would be different.

Dr. Cekada is the best dentist I've seen, Ashley and Jeanie are great hygienists as well. The manager Stephanie and the entire front desk staff are very helpful and pleasant. I would recommend this office to anyone looking for great care and service

I really love this office! Dr. Cekada is a pleasure and is so gentle! The office staff are very polite and attentive AND there is minimal wait time. I highly recommend them. Super clean with a very comfortable and relaxing environment for those who experience anxiety related to dental care like me. ;) Seriously though. The best dentist I've ever had.

I do not appreciate trying to call 1/2 hour before you close to change my appointment to be hung up on not once or twice but at least 6 times.this is extremely unprofessional, especially since the only responsibly some people have at the front desk is to answer the phones and make/change appointments.

I love love love The Smilist. My doctor, Dr. Nashad is absolutely the very best. Very knowledgeable, always hands on, great personality and he makes you want to smile again.
I can't thank him enough!

Second time coming here. The first time I went for a regular cleaning had no problems both hygienist and dentist were great. Second time around made me understand why some dread going to the dentist. The hygienist (different from the first one I had) was so careless she cut up my gums with her sharp tool all the way down to the bottom of my tongue. Here I am days later and still experiencing pain when I eat. Worst cleaning I’ve ever had. Would not recommend especially not for children.

This place is awesome! I have always had fear of the dentist. That went out the door with this place.the girls Sandy, Karina, Rhona are all great and accommodating.if there were more stars I’d give more. Thank you girls for all you do as well as Dr. Secada who is the best!
