The Sports Yard Training Facility reviews
6Stay away. $$ hungry. Facility small, dirty. Young coaches have no clue. Absolutely no pitching coaching.
Love this place and all of the staff! Only 3 classes in and his hitting has improved greatly!
I set up a private lesson after going only one time prior. I paid $45 for 30 minutes got an email and text confirmation, showed up Sat morning at 10 and the place was closed, had a No Show "coach". They sent me another confirmation email 1 hour before the lesson, an email. It's a 35 minute drive for me, I was already headed there. I called them to let them know what happened, no call.ever. I had to contact them 4 times to get my money back. I never even got a "sorry". Super unprofessional, stay away, there are other places.
-unprofessional, not organized on the local level, coaches have their girlfriends in dug outs. Practice was supposed to be on Thursdays but they moved it to Saturday, games often not on calendar or determined 4 days before game day. Offered a refund and then declined. Said one thing and did the other. Stay clear, it’s really expensive and ultimately a glorified little league. Happy to provide recording of call with owners wife, screen shots of emails, proof of lack of communication or care. Had to reach out many of times for clarification and needed follow up response on emails.
Great facility. Coaches are excellent, conveying very useful knowledge to my son. My son loves Chance and always looks forward to the sessions. I would recommend.
Coach Dan and his team are amazing. My son has learned so much. He is excited to try out for the team this spring.
