Atmosphere! Food! Service! Top notch Staten Island restaurant. My friend's steak was spectacular and cooked and served just as she requested. My salmon was exquisite. Can't wait to take my GF. (She's mad I went with friend!)
So took GF and her sister from Ireland for Happy Hour. Drink specials. Appetizer specials. My GF loved the Buffalo chicken flatbread. Her sister loved the wings. I had clams casino. Great bartender, friendly and accommodating. Another couple at bar asked about mozzarella olives for martini and he went to kitchen and had them made up for her!
Back again for happy hour with my GF's parents and sister from Ireland. Great apps, Joe made awesome drinks, great atmosphere. Always friendly people at bar!

The ambiance is very warm and welcoming, with a beautiful view of the lake that's filled with dishes, tadpoles, and turtles. The service is also very attuned and quick, especially Antonio who delivered exemplary service and provided us with everything we asked for. The food was also quite delicious, albeit on the more expensive side, but the quality of the food is definitely on the higher end! Our favorite is definitely the crab and egg, which was delicious with its accompanying sauce and side, we just wish it was either a tad bit less expensive or comes with a larger portion for 28 dollars. Unfortunately our over easy egg was over cooked and they didn't have any poached egg option, which would definitely make the dish even more aesthetically pleasing and delicious!

We are looking forward to coming back with our friends and family next time to enjoy the beautiful view, the amazing service, and the unique variety of foods!

Thank you for reading and best of luck! (:

Its a pretty nice place on staten island.a staple for the communities special events for at least 2-3 decades. There was a remodel a few years back so it is pretty nice inside now.they do the best they can, it does get loud in the bar area due to the tile but its a decent place to have an event/get together. Food could be better

Nice place and good food.
Very good service. I had been there for lunch a few times recently. The last one was so impressed. My friend and I ordered 3 items. The waiter asked if we are sharing. After he knew we are sharing the food, he separated the food in two plates before delivery to the table. So thoughtful and very good service!:)
I will definitely come back with other friends.

Obviously it's a little pricey, food is very good. I felt like, as a younger couple, they didn't take us as serious customers which always bothers me.

Took family there for my birthday, the food was alright, service was very good. It was very expensive, everything was ala cart. We had a good time.

My husband's uncle took our family out to eat here, and it was amazing! I looked at the menu and was looking forward to having a steak but found out that because we had a large group, we would have a small menu to pick from. I was unable to get a steak because of this and got the half chicken instead. After taking one bite, though, I didn't care; it was amazing! The drinks were great, the food was amazing, the biscuit dessert jar cup thing was amazing! Overall, this was the best meal that we had when we were in nyc. Next time we are in town, I would definitely want to go back!

One side note if you are bringing a little one there like we did, there wasn't anywhere to change him. We ended up going outside and using one of the tables out there. I'm guessing by the menu that they don't get too many young kids. I just thought I would give a heads up!

If I could give them a zero I would. Our waiter Carlos Ortiz walks over to speak to us and never looked us in the face acted as if he was doing us a favor.we ordered drinks and proceeded to order appetizers and dinner.let me mention nothing was offered (bread, dipping oil,) our appetizers arrived the oysters Rockefeller were oysters full of sautéed spinach, the burrata was good but the portion was so small.we called the waiter and asked for bread they brought us four mini croissants with oil and butter.we then order our entrees with Carlos who again can't look at you when you are speaking to him.we ordered spicy seafood pasta filet mignon and the house special which was halibut with mango rice.the entrees arrived the filet mignon is presented as a dark dry rock plated on a wood slab with a tiny pepper (50.00). The seafood dishes were watered down and seafood was not fresh lobster undercooked (50.00 each) the house special was a plate full of hazelnuts and fish so dry I asked for chimichuri to be able to eat the fish (45.00) price does not matter as long as food quality is up to par.desserts were stale. My reason for this review is to let you all know I understand businesses suffered hardships due to covid, but do not take advantage of your customers.we read our detailed receipt.the bread we asked for which came as croissants were charged at 9.00 the chimmichuri which I requested for the overcooked dry halibut was a 5.00 charge can you imagine the audacity.save you hard earned cash and go somewhere that makes you feel welcomed and where you get what you pay for.stone house is not that place.shame on them.

I thought long and hard whether to write this review or not. They had a Father's Day Special and the menu was very well planned so I decided to make a reservation to Celebrate my Husband First Father's Day. Making the reservation was very easy. When we arrived we were seated with no wait. It took the served over 5-10mins to come to our table to just take a drink order. After this, we were patient make be they were buy but at the time the restaurant was less than half the capacity. By the time our drinks came, they took even long to return to take our order. It got to the point my husband had to call someone over to take our order. We finished our drinks and still didn't even get the appetizer. This was just the worst service we'd ever received. The food was ok, nothing special. Mid -way into the dinner my baby needed to be changed, only to hear there is not diaper changing area (Prob something you should list online?). One of the staff member watched me and when I asked about the bathroom for the baby didn't offer a solution. This infuriated me even more. At this point, my baby was fussy as expected he needed to be changed. I got so mad and decided to not even eat my entree. I just ask for everything to be packaged to go.
It got even better, after this sloppy service and bad experienced we were slapped with an automatic service gratuity (id have never tolerated there poor service had I known this was automatic on my bill) and they also charge you extra to use your credit card. I then called the manger over rectify this non-sense. I explained everything poor service, no bathroom, these 2 fees that we weren't aware of. He then offer me a table to change my baby. (No way was this acceptable, if my infant moves a lot and would not be secure) then he went to say I was lying as the flyer listed that the service fee was automatic as it was an Holiday.
This was the worst dinning experience. The staff and manager needs better training.

Smoked old fashioned excellent. Surf & Turf perfect with amazing sauces.
Only downside was the music. Fine at a taquaria, but quiet, smooth jazz would have been more appropriate.
Other than that. Perfect!

My siblings and i put together a last minute anniversary party for our parents 40th and stonehouse made everything from the planning to the menu to the color of the napkins we wanted and number of people we wanted at each table! Can’t say enough about their attention to detail and consideration for what we wanted.they knocked it out of the park the day of the party with attentive servers and check ins with us throughout the party to make sure everything was to our liking.thank you stonehouse team for making such a beautiful memory for our family!

Gorgeous restaurant in a beautiful location.
I got my gazebo table, the service was great, the food (every single dish) was delicious, and even the music was up to our taste. We got a lot of compliments about our choice for our little celebration.and of course, we will be back. Thank you!

Reserved for 17 ppl, took over 3 hours to get the meal. Over one hour for appetizers, even with picking from a reduced menu.

I went for brunch, and the food was pretty good with an extensive menu. With outdoor seating on the water, the views and atmosphere couldn't be beat. Even though it was busy, our waiter frequently came by to refill drinks for those at our table who ordered the bottomless brunch drink special. That said, if it's busy, ask for your check 40 minutes before you want it because that's how long it took us to get ours (after asking for it three times). Two more important notes for brunch: 1) They don't have real iced coffee, so don't order that unless you want watered down hot coffee over ice. 2) The Bloody Maria as it was served today was a total embarrassment of a cocktail. Initially, we were served Bloody Marias with no alcohol, and when the waiter brought replacement drinks, they had mezcal but no tajin (which is listed on the drink menu). Also, there was no real Bloody Mary/Maria mix or recipe. It was just unseasoned tomato juice with mezcal, and it was the worst Bloody Mary/Maria I've ever had.
