The Strathallan Rochester Hotel & Spa - a DoubleTree by Hilton

Very solid hotel. Free parking, great location, good bar and restaurants. The rooms have some age to them but it is clean. The bathroom is great, really cool shower. The balcony is awesome! Bed and pillows could be more comfortable but not terrible. Don’t forget the classic doubletree cookie at check in

Trip to Rochester for a wedding.
Great Hotel, beautiful suites, great staff that goes out of its way to check on you to make sure you have a wonderful stay.

Went to my brother's wedding last night it was amazing the reception area was beautiful the photo booth was fun the balcony was awesome all the stuff was amazing including their whole wedding party.great place amazing view fun times

Spend significant time in Rochester for work. The Strathallan is the best hotel in the region. The staff and facilities are excellent

I've ordered food and drinks at the restaurant on the first floor. The bartenders, food, and drink were excellent. I highly recommend.

I attended a wedding there and the staff was EXCELLENT. The vegetarian meal at the reception was lemon risotto (a scoop of risotto on the plate and it was awful).
Parking is good, but it can be a bit challenging.
The atmosphere was fantastic.
The wrap around roof deck is great.
Everything was as it should be for a ' luxury bar, restaurant and hotel' (except the risotto!).

We went for the rooftop bar, Hattie's cocktails. Would recommend, great drinks with an even greater view of Rochester!

I had a great experience. The room was clean and comfortable, providing everything I needed for a pleasant stay. Special thanks to Gleyce, whose attentive and friendly service at the restaurant made my experience even more enjoyable! I would recommend the hotel and the restaurant for their great service.

This is the kind of place when you walk in the room, rather than saying “oh this is nice “; one’s reaction is, “Thank God this is just for one night. “Doesn’t look like the room has been upgraded in 40 years: cracks, broken cabinets, saggy cushions. No sugar-coating this experience. Website pictures and description sure don’t match reality. Big yuk!

Visited briefly over the weekend. Cool environment. Most enjoyable part was the staff. Chelsea, Eric, and especially Olga in the restaurant were so friendly! Made us feel very comfortable, thank you.

Spent our wedding night there woke by cleaning staff at 9am asking when we are leaving. Zero class! Spent $500 on an average at best room. Place is second rate! Won't be back and will make a point to tell everyone I know.

Was there for a wedding and the facility and view is beautiful. Very good service and helpful staff. Food was sub par at best.

Good business hotel. Unfortunately the elevators were not working on the last day, hard to manage luggage from the 8th floor.

I had a great stay here. The room was amazing, the location was convenient for all the stuff I wanted to do in Rochester. I would definitely stay here again if I came back here.

The EV charger EVconnect is very expensive 5 time more than standard price.
The charger overload.is saw a $46.50 and $162.50
Then $26.00 and $42.00 MAKE SURE YOU NEVER CONNECT AT THIS HOTEL

Ice machines didnt work on multiple floors, and pool was mentioned at the time of booking but has been permanently closed which was a massive let down. Also would be nice if the tvs allowed for screen sharing since theres nothing to watch on cable
