The Suffolk reviews
19Went to see Dirty Deeds, an AC/DC tribute band there and had a great time! The venue is super cool. Great acoustics, beautiful bathrooms and a great wait staff. The mixed cocktails were not great so I switched to beer and was way happier. Totally recommend seeing something in this venue. Its a little gem for sure.
I attended a show with family and friends. One of my friends was being bullied by two women sitting at the bar next to us. I asked these women to leave her alone and before knew it I had a very large man standing behind me. It was my birthday and we were just trying to enjoy the night. My daughter moved us to a table to avoid any more trouble, and instead of thanking her the owner of the establishment screamed at her in the hallway. At the same time these women continued to taunt me and my friends from the bar. At no time did did the owner or the very large man stop them. I did not feel safe in this establishment and had to leave.
Saw "A Broadway Valentines", showcased by 5 Broadway Ourstanding actors and actresses, accompanied by a fantastic pianist that just BLEW ME AWAY! Wow, what a show!
Loved this theatre. It is so old school glam and the separate tables for your group are such a welcome change. More intimate and roomy. Love the orchestra we saw. Couples danced. It was great.
Beautiful venue. Great music. Some decent snacks can be ordered during the show. Special drinks and nice wine (the Provence Rose) also.
The table seating was a bit tight and difficult to fit 4 people in and be able to view the show comfortably. I was unable to enjoy the show because of this. The food ordering was also confusing and our food never came.
Love everything about the Suffolk Theater! The venue, atmosphere, shows, staff and food/drink. It is the biggest bang for your buck with every part of the evening being a blast.
This place is spectacular! I love art deco style. This has the vibe of a speakeasy. Now that the building across the way is gone, the upstairs affords a great view of the river.
We saw a great show tonight! Quarter Horse was the band, and they were outstanding! Fantastic show! And the food and service was outstanding too. We had a wonderful time tonight.
Beautiful theater! Really good seating at tables, great service, everyone was friendly. Can't wait to go back!
We just attended the Al Di Meola concert, it was fantastic, great seating arrangements and service.
An especially nice venue and friendly staff. Would be cool if they served personal pizza pies
We came here to see the Amber Ferrari band, what a great location. The sound system and lighting was outstanding. We had great seats like the old days of dinner and a show. Except there was no dinner. They have restored this building back to its original shape and they did an outstanding job. We are even returning to see Sal Valentinetti.
Recently attended the Al Di Meola concert at The Suffolk. It was my first time there. It’s a beautiful theater that was built in the 1930’s with much of the original decor intact. The staff was very courteous, the drinks and food were reasonably priced. A really good overall experience, I would highly recommend.
My wife and i have attended a few shows at this very nice venue.we are also going to a few more shows this month and next. I find the people working there to be extreamly nice and courtious. The sound system is great. I would recommend this place as a decent place to see a show.
I absolutely love this theater and everything about it. The concerts are wonderful and if I lived closer I’d probably be there every weekend. I feel so at home. Highly recommend it.
Horrible. These people wanted vaccination cards and erroneously claim they were required. My medical records are none of their business.
Just saw G E Smith and Simon Kirke and it was a spectacular show. Bass player was awesome as well but I can't remember his name.
