Not a fan of this location for Amazon returns. Using a self service kiosk as required here took a lot longer and felt less secure. Employee when I arrived acted like I should know what to do when every other UPS Store location I've ever used provided quick personal service.

Supposedly a UPS access point that accepts redirected packages but seem to refuse delivery of all packages and return to sender.

Update: It’s only a guaranteed access point IF you purchase a mailbox at that location. I guess they think multiple attempted deliveries is a better use of their drivers time.

Trashhhh. They tried to charge me $6 to send them an email (I did not need to use their computer I could send the email from my phone), talking about, "it's store policy". What kind of policy is that? Especially when just a week before I emailed them and was not charged anything.

Update:
The store responded with a Dear John apology. Let me be absolutely clear, the staff is rude and inattentive- picture 2 disinterested teens. There was no policy that said it cost $6 to send them an email. The only posted signage was regarding using the computers (minimum $3.50)

If you need to return an Amazon package try Petco or Staples a few blocks up, they are much nicer. Additionally, I recommend the Fedex Print Shop on Lexington if you want true professionalism.

I’ve always had a good experience here! Helpful and courteous staff. What’s with the bad reviews? Ignore them.

The 2 employees I spoke with yesterday (at 2 different times of the day) were incredibly rude and unprofessional.

The person working here on the weekend tried to charge us $388 to ship a box to Florida, claiming that we could only do second day air on Saturdays and that if we wanted to ship ground we would have to come back on Monday. This is after we lugged the huge box there in the rain. Searched UPS’ policies after we got home and found out that you can in fact ship ground on Saturday. The employee clearly lied to us to upcharge…

Stop! I DID HAVE A PREPAID LABEL! That’s why I’m complaining, staff wanted to charge me and didn’t even care to listen that I had a prepaid label!
Omg, look at these reviews! Take your business somewhere else! How come this store is still open? ! I’ve never been so poorly treated like at this location. I wish I’ve seen this before they ruined my day. Congratulations! You guys win the prize of worst costumer service in the whole NYC
Staff is very RUDE, they clearly have ZERO costumer service training and are unhappy with their jobs.
Not only I was told they charge an extra free for a PAID shipping label which I never heard about it but she refused to explain to me any further information. She didn’t give me her name either. I asked something about printing to the gentleman and he was extremely rude. What are you doing working at UPs? Get an online job so you don’t have to deal with people.
Never coming back to this location and I have made a formal complaint. I hope they stop treating costumers so badly. And after reading all of these reviews, the store should get new employees. Please train your staff! I wish I could give zero stars. Take your business somewhere else!

The worst UPS store. Rude staff. I had a bad experience many times. I will not go to this location anymore.

Amazing staff! I’m so surprised the review is so low. I shipped a lot of packages at this store and has never had any complaints. Today Amazon return and customer service really created a difficult situation for me. They told me I can return by the end of today in two boxes but when I got the store. The Amazon costumer services changed what they said and saying computer cannot generate another code for the second box so there is nothing they can do. I felt I was talking to computers instead of human. It is the staff helped me to combine two boxes into one and save the day! I really appreciate it!

I run a 6-figure ecommerce business that relies on items being shipped out very often. Been dropping off at this store with more than 5 XL boxes each time, on a daily basis. If I were to guess, I sent out probably more than 100 XL boxes within the last 3 months. Haven't had a single problem with them. They're also really nice and always accommodate to my needs. Typically the AM named Mikey is always the one to assist my shipping needs and he is an excellent help all the time. I geninuely do not understand why this store has so many low star reviews but if it wasn't for this store; the success of my business would be a lot different. Shoutout to Mikey

My second bad review of a UPS store today. Stop advertising notary services and encouraging appointments online when these services don't exist.

I usually print in The UPS store closer to my house but since that store is closed on Sundays I went to print to this UPS and end up pay $10 for 3 copies!
$6 fee for printing is crazy!

Wanted to drop something off because I was in the neighborhood, decided not to because of the reviews. I usually use the one south of 42nd St, off Broadway and across from Shake Shack. I think it’s on 37th? Very nice employees.

This is the worst I’ve ever seen from the UPS. The guy that works there is nasty, nasty nasty you bring a package he doesn’t say good morning not that he has to but it doesn’t cost anything and if you bring a package and the Amazon machine does not work. He says he can’t take it. I don’t understand why he is lazy doesn’t want to do anything he is nasty. He does not belong working in customer service. I gave it one star because you cannot give it a zero. Also, if you return a package he doesn’t want to give you a receipt. Why is he working there? He doesn’t deserve to be working with people.

Apparently I’m not the first to have a similar experience. It’s time for UPS to replace these stores with “vending machines” as the human aspect doesn’t exist anymore.

Brought a females packed sent from Amazon by UPS; a ripped packages with a broken product inside; they asked me to tape the box and offered to sell me a $5 tape; I refused because, well, it’s UPS who females it, so why should I pay to fix it? Did they dive me a chance not to accept it when it was damaged? !
All I got is a woman pointing at the “company policy” — again, a robot behavior.
The owner response to me was something obscure like “Our retail location is Pack and Ship service is paid for when Amazon QR code or return label says ‘Customer Packed’. Our UPS driver will refuse your package if it is not properly sealed. This should be stated in your Amazon return instructions. ” — I wonder if it’s the same driver that damaged it to behind with.

No accountability

The staff here is not helpful. I brought an Amazon package here to return this morning. The staff asked me to tape the box. I didn't bring any packaging material because I chose "label free box free" option when I selected the return option on Amazon. I asked if the staff can help on taping it. The staff told me that I had to pay $2 for the taping. Taping is not a big deal, why can not the staff just help on it? I decided that I would pay $2 for taping because it might be Amazon's fault. But I found out I didn't bring any cash or credit card. The package was very big and heavy. I am pretty sure the staff can tell it. I asked if I could leave the package here because it was very heavy, and I would go home to bring the money. I told him my apartment was just 4 blocks away, I could be back in less than 10 minutes. I was surprised the staff said no. He said they were not responsible for any open packages. I told him that it would be fine, I trusted them, and I had to come back because I would lose more than $100 of I didn't return the package. Even I explained this way, the staff said no and I had to carry the big package home. UES is one of the most beautiful neighborhoods in Manhattan. It is a community. The store is part of the community. The low level of trust and unwillingness to help from this store made me feel very disappointed.

The people who are working there are so rude and they should deal with people in a good way. When i came there was a debate between a gentle woman and one of the workers there. It's really annoying and the staff there aren't professional. I hope that you can change the staff there or give them training on how to deal with people professionally. I don't recommend this store to anyone.

The worst customer service ever. There was a line on the self service scanner, and employee was just standing around, asked him if he can scan my package, since I only needed a receipt. He refused and just walked back to the back room.
