The Vineyards at Aquebogue, Riverhead NY

The food was amazing. Overall the venue was very nice and the staff was very friendly and took care of everything.

Our first time at this venue and hopefully not our last. The cocktail hour had a variety of foods to offer. From shellfish, meats, vegetables & sliders to salads. The staff was on point and always asking if there was anything they could bring us. The dance floor and venue were spacious and beautiful. I'd highly recommend this place to anyone for their special occasions.

Having our wedding at The Vineyards at Aquebogue was beyond a dream come true. Kate and Russ create pure magic for you - not just on the day of your wedding, but during the entire process. They made it so easy for us when we had to move our wedding, due to the pandemic. They would get on the phone with us, send us photos, and set up in-person meetings whenever I had crazy amounts of questions. We always got an honest opinion on what to splurge on, and what wasn’t really ‘our style’ from Kate – she never steered us wrong. The day of our wedding Kate told my wedding coordinator that there were flowers leftover from the previous night’s wedding, with our exact same color palate, and asked if we wanted to use them as well. That was so thoughtful, and the extra unwanted flowers got to be admired again.

We had our wedding outside, in November, and the landscape was stunning. Getting married under an arbor with a view of the waterfall, gazebo, and vineyards was spectacular. The food was unbeatable – during cocktail hour we had pasta cooked in wheels of cheese, oysters shucked to order, baby lambchops… and our guest were so stuffed but they still managed to eat their dinners – the Chateau-Briand steak (with the peppercorn gravy, as per Kate’s suggestion) and lasagna (yes, the vegetarian option), were the absolute standouts. The reception area is gorgeous, the highlight being these beautiful Edison lights over the dance floor (definitely upgrade for those), and the grand double staircase. Once the cocktail room was cleaned, they opened it up too, so you had so much space and so many options to hang out – if you wanted intimate conversation or being on the dancefloor all night, you had options. We also used the recommended band Crossing Midnight (with 9 pieces, including saxophone and bongos) and I’m still having people tell me it was the best music at a wedding that they’ve ever been to. The Maître D’, Michelle, was on top of everything, the bartenders were quick and we never had a line, and the staff was professional and courteous.

The Vineyards at Aquebogue is different because they’re not ‘just a catering hall’. There’s only one wedding at a time, it’s so uniquely rustic and elegant, and you’re not treated like just ‘another bride’. You are important, you become family, and you will be taken care of.

We had our wedding here 1/16/2022 and want to do it all over again! The venue is just something straight out of a dream. The environment is so picturesque, the food is delicious, the entire staff is helpful, professional and communicative. My now Husband and I were happy with every moment of our day.

Went to a wedding on 11-20-21 which was absolutely beautiful from start to finish. Would highly recommend this venue.

The intimate setting was beautiful and well maintained. The food was phenomenal. Many times at a wedding, the cocktail hour is the only time the food meets your expectations. This place had amazing food throughout, start to finish. The cocktail hour had a delicious pasta bar, excellent salads and antipasto, even the cornbread was exquisite. The dinner was perfection. The dessert was a beautiful cap to an incredibly happy occasion. The staff was attentive and friendly. The decor was updated and attractive. I'd be excited to attend another wedding here!

We had our wedding there 10/29/21 and it was incredible. The venue is gorgeous, Russ and Kate and amazing to work with and the entire staff was wonderful. We can’t say enough great things!

Our daughter and new son-in-law got married here just over a week ago and our experience was amazing. The staff was incredible, ready to help in any way they could. The ceremony area was outside and just beautiful! The food was absolutely incredible, starting with the food and drinks left in our bridal suite, through the absolutely stunning cocktail hour, with so much food that most people were saying “how can I eat more at dinner”! Just wonderful food! So many incredible choices! Having the cocktail hour room and the rest of the venue, to give us the freedom to move around and not be stuck in one area, was amazing! All of the rooms were beautiful and having the huge staircase to take a family photo, and another to enter the wedding at the beginning of the reception, a huge bonus! Thank you for all you did to make our daughter and son-in-laws wedding dreams, come true! ️

Held my daughters wedding here on Friday night…. AMAZING! This is the venue to use, no question about it! Thank you to ALL the staff there who made this day so perfect.

My sister had her wedding here the other day. The venue was beautiful and the staff was very helpful, making the day as painless and stress free as possible! Glad they could help make it such a special day for my family.

I have to give credit when credit is due! We have worked with many, many venues and The Vineyards is on our list of favorites! The entire staff is so incredibly hospitable and accommodating before and during the event. The space provided for our Photobooth was perfect! Looking forward to future events there!

Had my wedding there. Staff was amazing. Extremely attentive. Food was amazing. Extremely cost effective. You can way more than you hope for.
