My family recently switch to The Vison Center from another local vision provider simply because we could not get through to a human whenever we called the other provider. It has been THE BEST decision I've ever made. Not only is the building clean, organized and comfortable to be in, the staff is incredibly kind, patient and helpful. Today I called and spoke to Christine. My son is out of town for his job and his new prescription of contacts was mailed to his host family's house. Unfortunately, he's out of contacts. He is traveling for a week and unable to get to his prescription. I called and spoke to Christine and explained the situation to her, telling her that my husband would be traveling to see my son but was leaving in a few hours. She not only helped, she went above and beyond! She through together a little care package for him so he would be able to see until he returned home. She did this almost as soon as we hung up. I am just so thrilled that someone actually cared about our issue and really wanted to help. It's rare to find these days. I am thankful for The Vision Center and for Christine!

Love my new glasses, and they even got my safety glasses for work. Stellar service and they came in much sooner than expected!

Not going here for ever again, been going here for YEARS. They do not have a big selection of glasses and what they have are so expensive, I have great insurance but can never find any I like and I have $150 to spend. Secondly, most of the women that work there are SO RUDE. Customer service STINKS. And I am taking my business and money somewhere else. Also, I went there yesterday only to do eye exams for contacts and glasses for myself and my daughter. I made it clear I only want eye exams for both and I’d take the glasses prescription somewhere else, and I planned on ordering from 1-800-contacts. I get out to the desk where the girl was very unfriendly was ringing me out and said I owed $54 for myself and $54 for my daughter for a fitting fee for the contacts. I was so confused, I went in there for eye exams and just wanted to walk out with prescriptions, she then went to talk to someone after I told her I couldn’t pay that, bringing out 2 ladies where now I feel like I’m completely being ganged up on. So they released my eye glass prescription but will not my contact until I pay $54 then they’ll order trials. Flat out ridiculous. I just haven’t had a good experience there in years, my husband and I will take ourselves and 3 kids somewhere else, very sad.

Dr Plow and the staff are amazing every time I go they all are enjoyable to work with and ask questions all along to ensure the service is always great

My wife and I are very pleased with the care and service that we receive at The Vision Center. All the staff is highly professional, courteous, and knowledgeable. I am a pastor by trade and therefore I read A LOT … both in my study as well as from the pulpit. Dr. Plow meticulously works with me to make sure that my progressive lenses are spot on.

Recently had my eye exam at The Vision Center in Horseheads NY. Dr. O' Connor performed the exam and answered all my questions. Very pleasant experience with no problems. Once I was done with exam and looking for frames, Jenn & Jennah both helped answer my questions about prescription sunglasses. Having never had them before they did a wonderful job setting me up. Very helpful & extremely easy process. Thank you all for a wonderful experience.

This place operates with integrity. I highly recommend doing business with them. John is the best!

The Dr I saw was insinuating I was diabetic because I was fat. He was only convinced I was not because I pulled up my bloodwork to prove my glucose levels were normal. The front desk is rude and snippy, and don't clarify what contacts are covered by insurance. When I addressed the bad experience I had with the Dr, their only response was "ok" which further proves their lack of care about patient experience

I haven’t been to a physical eye doctor since before COVID. I recently moved to the area from NYC and chose this place. All I have to say is the staff is beyond friendly and understanding. The eye exam was quick and the doctor had a positive energy carried with him.

After the exam, they helped me chose eye glasses and when they didn’t have the size I wanted. I was able to work and find the perfect pair of glasses to get custom ordered. For a custom order of Prada frames the total turn around was about 2.5-3 weeks which is amazing. When picking them up on my 15 minute they were swift and understood my rush. Amazing services, I plan on returning.
