The Yinova Center Acupuncture, Brooklyn NY

I have been seeing Katy Hogan at Yinova for the last year and my experience has been nothing but wonderful. Every appointment Katy takes time with me to talk through the whole picture of how things have been going, she is so kind, warm, knowledgeable, caring, so the treatments are the best acupuncture treatments I've ever had. I am always transported to a peaceful, deeply relaxed place. I'm so grateful to have met Katy and everyone at Yinova and that they have been a part of my journey.

I have been seeing Katy Hogan, an acupuncturist at Yinova, for several months now. I can't sing Katy's praises enough! She is knowledgeable, caring, and experienced. She is an attentive listener, keeps records of my progress, and adjusts treatment accordingly. I couldn't have asked for kinder and more professional practitioner. Katy and Yinova are the best!

While I love Yinova and cannot recommend the overall experience enough, I am especially lucky that I found Katy Hogan. My only regret is that she didn't come into my life sooner! Katy is calming, compassionate and empathetic. She takes on your issues/needs as her own to thoughtfully create a treatment plan. I've been beyond impressed by her knowledge of both eastern + western medicine and the way she weaves this knowledge into her practice & our time together. I count down the days until my time with Katy each week. Book with Katy for what's sure to be the best experience possible!

Seems like a great place. I was excited to see my acupuncturist today but was not properly booked for an appointment. I had received an email with a welcome and new patient form the day I called so assumed this was booked. But was told when I arrived that I didn’t have an appointment. This was an administrative error that cost me time and was disappointing since I am seeking advice for family planning. I will accept the apology but recommend double checking your appointments when booking. And nothing this in case others have had similar experiences.

My only regrets is discovering this center and acupuncture only in the last year. I’ve experienced so much healing through the hands and needles of the practitioners here especially from Meredith at the East Side location. She’s truly a one of a kind gem and has been so amazing to work with.

I have been going to Thea for acupuncture at Yinova (Brooklyn Heights location) for over two years now and have had such a wonderful, meaningful experience. Acupuncture and Thea are now very important parts of my life. I first discovered Yinova when I was going through IVF, in the height of the pandemic. During a stressful time, Thea met me with understanding, calm, and expertise. She is passionate about her work and a brilliant teacher, always taking the time to explain the thought process behind the treatment. I always feel like I can be open and honest with Thea, and she'll even take the time to follow up with additional information over email. Acupuncture has helped me with digestion, mood, back pain, and most importantly - through and after a healthy pregnancy, including recovery from a c-section. I'm so grateful to have found Yinova and Thea and can't recommend enough for anyone interested in exploring acupuncture.

The Yinova Center saved my birth experience. I cant thank you enough! I was close to being 41 weeks pregnant and every doctor was pushing induction because i am 40 years old. I knew i wanted my body to start labor naturally and i was desperate for help. A friend suggested I try acupuncture so i looked at all the centers and tried finding one specializing in pregnancy related treatments! I am soo happy i found the Yinova center. My induction at the hospital was scheduled for january 20th. I went to yinova on the 18th hoping for a miracle.and it happened! A few hours after the treatment i finally dilated! The practitioner asked me to come back again on the morning of the 20th for another treatment (the day of my induction). I went back on the 20th and to my amazement my water broke a few hours after that 2nd treatment! With both treatments my labor progressed! This meant my water actually broke 4 hours before my scheduled induction time.so i went to the hospital in labor! I am so grateful and so happy with what i received! It truly felt like a miracle and likely reduced my chances of a c section and helped prepare my body to deliver my baby vaginally! It was an amazing experience!

While I didn't physically go to Yinova for treatment, I've been ordering their vitamins to help with conception and overall health. My pelvic floor therapist, Dr. Yeni, at Triggered in Arlington, TX, recommended I take supplements to help heal my body, prep for convention and pregnancy, and postpartum care. I was looking for vitamins in their purest form so as not to upset my stomach or impact me adversely in any way. I've been taking CoQ10, Zinc, Vitamin E, etc. They've all done great. Shipping was a bit slower than expected, but I'll order ahead of time, now that I know what I need. Overall, a great experience and packaged well.

Highly recommend Yinova, especially Katy Hogan. She is extremely knowledgable and kind, and has helped with a variety of health issues I've had over the past few years including my PCOS, back pain and eczema.

I have been working with Thea for over a year and my health and well-being have improved greatly. She is attentive and intuitive and has helped with relief and prevention of pain associated with my general health, migraines, and chronic back pain due to injury. I have made it part of my monthly health routine in order to maintain a quality of life that i was missing before my treatments.

I was lucky enough to work with Katy Hogan at Yinova and she’s honestly one of the best acupuncturists I’ve ever worked with. The practice is great overall but I particularly love working with Katy. She’s basically my fertility doula and has guided me through a very difficult time during the pandemic. I really can’t recommend her enough. She now practices at the location in BK. Brooklyn is so lucky to have her.

Yinova is well worth it. I've been going on and off for 4+ years and Yinova (esp. Katy Hogan) has helped with a wide range of needs. Katy is knowledgeable, kind, funny, and really dedicated to her clients. Plus, the facility is gorgeous and extremely comfortable.

I don't have the words to recommend Katy Hogan enough. She brought warmth, empathy, intelligence, and positive energy to every single meeting. Every session was tailored to our overarching goals and then adapted to the situations of that day. She brought new ideas and insights from other practices (like EFT tapping) into our sessions to provide a holistic, innovative approach to my therapy. While she is a phenomenal practitioner, she was an even better source of friendship and support on every visit – whether that was offering support in tearful moments, celebrating wins, or comparing notes on the latest episode of some terrible television show. She made acupuncture a safe haven during a stressful time and I am forever grateful for her, her treatments, and her care.

I highly highly recommend Yinova and Katy Hogan for all your Acupuncture needs. She specializes in reproductive health and is skilled at using treatments to balance your body and manage discomfort or pain. I saw Katy regularly throughout my high-risk pregnancy, and I know it helped me successfully and safely get to full-term and manage a myriad of symptoms. I always felt better after an appointment. I also recommend her for any other female issues and overall pain management. As someone who hates needles, I felt Katy was patient and worked with me based on my comfort level. She keeps careful track of your progress each visit and cares about your well being. The office environments in Flatiron and Brooklyn are also beautiful and the rooms clean and relaxing.

I've consistently had a wonderful experience at Yinova since I began going in 2019. I've recently been treated by Katy Hogan who is warm, insightful and wonderful.
