2 Dr. Kilkenny never responded to our request to go and see my mom in the hospital last year while he was currently doing his rounds there. Although Dr. Castellano was her provider for over 10 years, Dr. Kilkenny took over after Castellano retired.
My mother was very sick with copd and the new hospitalist didn’t have enough experience and or knowledge in the
specialty to help her. Well despite Dr Kilkenny’s staff stating they paged him and messaged him, he never went to her room to see her or called me back!
This led to my mom’s passing two weeks later. He has no empathy or care for his patients lives’.
I definitely miss Dr. Castellano but I like Dr. Kilkenny. He spent time with me, listened and explained well. As far as staff is concerned, they seem fine to me. Honestly, I prefer a great doctor, I can ignore rude staff.
