Throgs Neck Dental, Bronx NY

By far the BEST dentist I’ve ever been to. I have been known to be the biggest cry baby at any dentist office I go to. I have been traumatized and literally hate going to the dentist. Today I went to throgs neck dental and got seen by Dr Prakash and y’all she did not disappoint I did not cry at all, I felt no pain what so ever and she was very good at making me feel comfortable so I would be scared.they work with you and your insurance so it wasn’t so pricey which is also what I was afraid of. I plan on going there any time I need a dentist visit. The staff is by far the nicest staff you can come across it was my first time there and I love them all. THANK YOU THROGS NECK DENTAL

I had to have an emergency tooth extraction and the customer service throughout the entire process was phenomenal. I had Dr. Prakash work on my tooth extraction and she put me at ease the entire time. I couldn’t have had a better experience and will be returning for regular check ups!

The office was nice and I am thinking about making this my general dentist but here is why they get a 3. On their website they promote that they do emergency extractions mentioning wisdom teeth and impacted teeth. I had an impacted tooth and was in pain so I came here for an emergency extraction (I disclosed my tooth was impacted when I called to make the appointment, before the xray and before the Dr.looked in my mouth). Turns out they couldn't serve me because they don’t take them out when they are that impacted. Fine. I go to pay and the girl at the billing station keeps blurting out its $150. Although I have insurance and the price startled me I assumed she did her job and ran my insurance. As I provided my insurance info when I called and prior to my appointment when I filled out the form they gave me. Simultaneously the Dr. Is behind her noticing she did put in my prescription for antibiotics to be sent to my pharmacist. Had the Dr. Not been standing behind her I would've gone days in excruciating pain because the antibiotics were the only thing that alleviated my pain while I wait for my appointment with the oral surgeon I was referred to. The only reason its a 3 is because the girl at the billing station made that mistake. In this economy I shouldn't have to give up $150 unnecessarily while having insurance because someone is not focused on a job that requires attention to detail. She said she fixed it and I should be getting reimbursed but I do not even trust her I have to check in with my insurance. Anyway Dr. Marks was the 2nd doctor I saw, he didnt try to push me to remove all my wisdom tooth and was the only one to address the pain I was in. So he gets a 5. Girl at the billing station please note you greet clients and then asked them how they will be paying and if they have insurance before blurting out how much they owe.

I had the best experience here. Everyone was so nice and pleasant. The dentist did an absolutely amazing job making sure I was comfortable. I would recommend this dental office to anyone! Hands down the best.

First time there a person that is scared of the dentist had a great experience from the reception desk. All the way to the dentist places extremely clean and the dentist sit down with you and explains every detail they doing to you. Will recommend this place to all my friends and family

I was seen by the owner of the practice. Listen to exactly what I wanted it. I had to go back for some tweaking. He did it at no cost and willing to go back for a dental cleaning

The assistants and physicians are wonderful professionals who helped me to achieve an efficient and selected treatment for my pain and other problems associated with some of my teeth. I recently did two extractions and everything worked very well. I strongly recommend the Throgs Neck Dental to anybody who is looking for a high-class dental service.

The staff are very friendly. They do excellent work and are very responsive to your needs.

I came in as a first time patient with a toothache stemming from an infected root canal. The dentist (wish I could remember her name) saw me right away. The staff was very good at giving me the full picture, explaining my situation and my options for treatment. As it was a busy time, Dr Sussman stepped right in and took care of my extraction. He was very conscientious of my pain level and took every necessary precaution to ensure I was okay. All the while I had a great dental assistant that made me feel very comfortable. And they all put up with my crazy. Lol
