Tibbett Diner, Bronx NY

Ok stopped in for breakfast this morning & the manager, waitress behind the counter & a kitchen worker - NOT WEARING MASKS! Customer safety & health obviously not a priority
I have show proof of a vaccine but they don't have to wear a mask.

Ordered a Turkey Sandwich from this place on Grubhub and this Diner said they never got my order. Will not repeat. Not recommended.

Awesome simple breakfast, quick, hot and served exactly as asked. Servers were excellent, will certainly go back!

We found this diner today by happenstance and are so happy that we did. It was busy, busy but that didn’t matter one bit. The staff was polite and professional, and our food was hot and delicious. A great place to relax a bit and enjoy some traditional diner food. If we are in the area again, we’ll be back.

After beeing in over 100 dinners in NY.not one beats this one in terms of freshness of food and the taste!

Wonderful place for breakfast lunch and dinner. It was my first time here and I enjoyed my breakfast. My waitress, Christina was so helpful explaining the menu she gave wonderful service. She was great at explaining the Irish breakfast. I would recommend this place.

This place is the definition of a family restaurant, it cannot be beat, the food is truly incredible, and the memories can never be forgotten. This place is truly amazing

I just Love this place! Very quaint, friendly and wonderful service. Their pancakes as super fluffy and light. Yummmmmmmm!

I grew up in Marble Hill (Born & Raised) We were all family back in the day. We still are. My niece, nephew, and I decided to eat here at Tibbett’s Diner for old time sake.

OMG, The food was sooooo good! The service was awesome very welcoming and friendly. He made sure he gave us all our correct orders. I had burger deluxe like old times. AMAZING It was to die for.

I highly recommend this place to everyone, trust me you will not regret it.

Love this diner. Been going there since my father had introduced me since I was young adult and it’s a family place. Everyone is friendly and kind. Food is great. I enjoy going.

Tibet diner. I have breakfast there all the time and dinners. My son's love this place. The waitresses are always polite. And the prices are pretty decent. I have been calling here for almost 50 years. And the fact that my children love this. Says a lot about the place the bathrooms are clean no flies. The Dale diner has lots of flies that's why I don't go there no more with my family. But Tibet diner always clean always polite great prices. Recommend to everyone. During Covid, it gave us a great chance to order from many places in our area over the past year. We now mainly order from Tibbett. Out of all the diners in the area, we love their staff and food the most. We ordered tonight for delivery, and it came to our door hot, fresh and with smiling eyes (masked up). Everything was just as we ordered, and we are very picky people. Their wonderful staff never get upset and listen carefully when we order. They take the time to ask questions to make sure everything is right. We opened our meals and everything was cooked perfect and smelled terrific. The pot roast was so tender that no knife was needed at all. It just melted in your mouth. The mashed potatoes and corn were nice and hot so the butter melted quickly. They always send everything you could possibly need. Forks, knives, butter, salt and pepper, napkins, ketchup, dressings and more. If you need it.it's in the bag. The BBQ ribs were tender, savory, and filled with meat. The chicken sandwich was delicious. The cutlet was crispy on the outside and still juicy on the inside. Not dried out at all. The bun was fresh, not something saved over from the day before. They always make sure to send our pickles with extra because some family members always want to steel mine Our french fries were hot and crispy. The stuffed peppers were HUGE! You really get your money's worth, and they taste just like my family made when we were younger. Our salads were fresh and crisp. They always send plenty of dressing. I asked for extra egg and avocado and they aren't scared to put in lots of extra. My favorite was the grilled cheddar cheese sandwich with extra mushrooms. This isn't on their menu, but they never hesitate to make it for me. When I pulled the slices apart, there was lots of cheese and mushrooms mixed throughout. Their cook really took the time and cared when they made it. It wasn't sloppy and you didn't have to wonder where the cheese was. I was even more impressed when I called tonight to order. I could hear that they were very busy, but the gentleman still remained calm and kind. I could still hear the smile in his voice as he took our order. That shows a diner whose staff really cares. From past orders, our family can highly recommend the beef barley and their Manhattan clam chowder. They are wonderful. Their bread always comes hot, and easy to butter. We can't wait to get our second vaccine so we can feel comfortable dining in person. Tibbett will be the very first place we will go. We very highly recommend Tibbett Diner.

Would have gave it 5 if not for the waiter whom informed me that corn beef hash was extra after I asked for it instead of ham. The food was delicious and you get free orange juice.

Their customer service is top notch! They are really really nice! One of the top food i recommend that everyone should try id the disco fries! They tastes so amazing! Brown gravy on the bottom and mozzarella cheese on top. Other food I had, they didnt have any seasoning and didnt taste like anything. I really liked their bread. I can assure you that their food doesnt taste that good
